Unlike regular buttons that can get lost or obstructed by other atoms, these buttons are always on display—they blend seamlessly with the UI panel. Hit F1 to hide the panel and your buttons disappear with it...

Tried it in VR and the buttons on the right do tend to stretch off in the distance. What if there was a curvature option so the buttons on the far right are usable?

I'll test them in VR later. For now, I need to fix some bugs and add more features. I also want to find a way to implement toggles.

Totally love this and exactly what I was looking for. Any chance you may add where buttons can be individually shown and hidden for progression scenes?

HUD Buttons V2

HUD Buttons Update - Change Log
1) Toggle Functionality: Enhanced buttons so they now function as toggles.
2) Implemented a trigger counter on the button triggers, allowing users to view the number of triggers assigned to each button.
3) Fixed issues with the dropdown menu. Duplicate buttons now use a sequential numbering scheme (e.g., "Button 2", "Button 3", etc.) instead of an underscore suffix, ensuring clear and consistent naming.
4) Improved Free Mode Responsiveness: buttons now...

Just a little feedback. Tried this out today, if I add the plugin to an Empty atom, and delete the plugin, it removes the buttons just fine. However I added the plugin to a existing CustomUnityAsset that was in my scene. I setup some buttons to just test it out. Deleted the plugin from the CUA, and the buttons remained in the scene. Opened a totally new scene, the buttons were still present. What type of atoms can or should this plugin be applied to?

HUD Buttons Update V3 - Change Log
This update is massive!
Introduces button groups, allowing you to organize buttons into sets and switch between them as needed! You can also trigger button groups using timeline triggers at any time.
Hide Buttons on Click – Option to make a button disappear when pressed.
Change a button’s color, text, shape, font, and more dynamically when clicked.
Enjoy!

I have no idea, I usually just use an empty atom.

No worries, I will play around with it as part of an Empty Atom. Really cool plugin, thank you for sharing this and continuing to make it better. I do have one question and maybe I missed it , but when I tie it to an atom can I make the buttons move around within the scene where ever that atom goes or is rotated? So right now, if you just add a normal button in Vam, you can rotate it, place it on a wall, etc. I may be missing it but your buttons are just placed on the screen and you move the horiz/vert on your screen, or is there a way to make them "in the scene" like the normal buttons are?

For buttons "in the scene," we already have regular UI button atoms for that.
My idea is to extend your VAM UI functionality with custom buttons! For example, with Voxta, I want to have an 'Activate Voxta' button always visible on the screen whenever the VAM UI is open and without being obstructed by other atoms.

It's already implemented! check the newly updated version.

HUD Buttons V4

  • Drag Mode Improvements: When you turn on drag mode, button clicks are turned off to prevent accidental clicks, and the selected button gets highlighted so you know which one you’re moving.
  • Logging is now off by default for a cleaner experience.
  • The plugin now looks nicer and is easier to use.
  • You can adjust button sizes starting from 0, giving you complete control over their dimensions

Very interesting Plugin, thank you!

Some suggestions if i may.

In addition to Buttons, Sliders would be great!

Also it would be nice if you could toggle individual Buttons/Sliders/Groups on and off with another Button.
For example if i have a Button called "Morphs" that toggles on/off a group of multiple buttons controlling morphs.
Kina like a Menu.

A toggle for visibility in VR would be nice.

Thanks!

how do you switch between groups without opening the plugin

it's very simple.

Thanks that helps a lot.
It took me a while but i finally made some nice Menus for a scene.
Maybe make a small Video Tutorial so people can get started easyer.
It's a very powerful Plugin once you know how to use it.
Also pleeeeeeaaase add Sliders!?! :D
Thanks again. Awesome Plugin!
