I run VAM with Lutris and WivRN VR. Avoiding SteamVR has given some extra performance headroom, so WivRN is worth checking out for that alone. ALVR works too, but the extra performance is more desirable.
Modelled and textured using Blender and Substance Painter. It has a custom collision mesh.

No, because VAM uses a smoothing option. so it smooths all vertices across the model. you can turn it off in performance settings, but soft body physics will look terrible as a consequence. I always have it turned to 1 as a compromise.
Hey. Here is the issue I'm having. I follow the steps to the letter, but I can only discover 4 appearance presets in the appearance folder. I tried lowering the morph count all the way down to zero, but I can't find any more. I have 12 presets in the folder as you can see in file explorer all...
This was the only thing that helped. I have made a few hairs in VAM with some success, but making hairs from scratch in blender has been a real nightmare, so this really helped me upping my digital portrait creation by miles! Thanks a lot for sharing!
