If you are wondering why there is no thumbnail it is because the image is too large in dimensions for the thumbnail system to process. I don't know what the exact cutoff is, but I would stick to width/height less than 4096 if you care about thumbnails.

If I can figure out how to set the limit I will fix it. I'm sure it is a setting somewhere. I'm not 100% sure why we need to support images of this size (7680 x 4230) here though, since most users will looking at the scaled down version. I guess it is nice for zooming in to see details. I'll let you know if I find a remedy.
Well that was easy. It was set at 2MP max by default as they wanted it to work on small servers out-of-the-box. I have increased to 64MP max.
To fix images with broken thumbnails, click the 3-dot menu, and choose "Change thumbnail". Leave it as default thumbnail and hit save. It will then regenerated the thumbnail.
