Question Frame rate issues with large environments

Hi, I'm currently using an environment called "studio apartment" and when I try to add about 2 point lights to the scene, I notice that my frame rate drops significantly, down to around 60 fps, it seems like its still a lot, but if I add 1 character, my frame rate drops to around 25 fps. And that's not even including character animation or directional light. So I would like to ask if there is any way to prevent the frame rate from dropping this much?
(Without compromising the quality of the graphics in an ugly way)

[I tried another environment called "feel apartment" which is the same model as "studio apartment" but with better lighting and much higher fps. I don't know what method he used.]

Thanks in advance for your answer.

If you replace the point lights with spots, it will be better. Some envs are more costly than others. There's one called the underpass that has a ton of stray polys floating around. Each one of those will cast shadows, costing FPS. I don't know what the difference is with the apartments. I wouldn't use directional lights. They don't look good, IMO.

In my case, a major upgrade to my video card ended all FPS issues in desktop play. I don't have VR.

May I know the model of your graphics card? Now i use GeForce RTX 4060
I upgraded from a 1060 6GB to a 5070 w 16 GB. A 4060 should be decent. Perhaps you're running out of VRAM. I use a program called GPU-z to monitor the GPU usage.

Sorry, I don't know much about computers, but I'll try to ask without getting off topic.

I use a 4060 graphics card with 8GB VRAM and 16GB RAM, which can be expanded to 64GB. I want to know if expanding the RAM will improve the fps (I can't change the graphics card because I use a laptop).

In this app, laptops will always be at a disadvantage, for this very reason. You're limited in upgrades. 16GB RAM is marginal. That's an easy upgrade, but it might not cure low FPS completely. In your scenes, use the standard advice to use fewer pixel lights, fewer point lights, and so on. Hair, clothing, and lighting are the usual suspects.
