It's the Perfection of FTL ( FTL is still a good reference Point)

It even partly kills UnityChan now in overall Complexity

good logic work

Though the Dancing is far away from this Perfection yet

though we can do it when we hit especially the Mocap latency efficient enough and lower the Blendshape overhead

Ok stable 60 will be hard we are somewhere at 30 at best now and yet without any motion no chance with the base light overhead in the default start setup

to reach that 60 target it has to be reduced by over 50% overhead or improved on the main Performance side somewhere, that will be some work.

PS: Above results are all outside of Framebuffer Live Recordings on Zen 2 Matisse

This is interesting

Hmm what are you trying to reach with those Advanced-> Fake lights ?
Loading and stress on the GC is crazy

Someone got Crazy ;)

Oh yeah but Slideshow recording is possible :)

It remembers me of One Night in LA :D

i wonder when we see the Hallyu Dream Concert Stage setup

These are the Kind of Lower Luminance Setups i like full of complexity :)

Absolute Great work on Low Light Effect Setups, i wouldn't know which comes close to this Show Stage Setup it's a Reference for Sure and full of meshup possibilities.

It's Amazing to watch for the Eyes

Needs to be a Default Scene for VAM 2.0

Presenting your Models and Sex this way jesus that will be a new experience Real KPORN

The Timeline Logic takes over the Camera position and resets it not nice

it overrides every decision you want to take disable bloom it enables it again

makes no sense to make shortcuts for options that get overridden by the timeline playback logic anyways

Your decisions should override timelines not the other way

Making especially Post Logic Part of the Timeline is making no sense unless you want to showcase something pre recorded

If i disable bloom i want it to stay disabled, if i disable a light i want it to stay disabled.

It's nice to give users a reset default state option but users decisions should never ever be overridden without the user wanting it.

Also interesting SallysFX Latency can be impacted via the mouse scrollwhell which brings the pitch to go high wire for some seconds

hmm it depends on the speed of the camera position change

Weired i can't change into Realtime Priority from Inside VAM

Some Atoms freeze the physics and lighting change updates

Edit: Latest version (2.02a) with the shorter demo fixed them problems I had with the animation not playing. Don't know why. Have not had the time to "deep dive" into this complex scene.

I've downloaded the scene and all dependencies to a clean VAM installation and then followed the instructions, but the person does not move/dance.
(By the way the Xstatic.MegaParticlePack does not download automatically and shows as missing on the Hub, but I got that from another VAM-installation)

Activating the SallySoundFX-Plugin does trigger all the stage effects as expected.
I feel like I'm missing something fundamental here that is assumed common knowledge among KPOP-fans and MMD-users, which I'm not familiar with.
Do I need a paid MMD Plugin/Player? Is it not in dependencies for a reason?

As requested in a Patreon comment I'm currently testing a SallySoundFX-Slave-Plugin that can provide additional Triggers.
This scene is indeed quite complex and pushes the limit.

Potential script performance optimization:
I noticed that MacGruber-Relay is used a lot. IF this is purely used to pass values (value is not manipulated in any way), it should be faster to add all these actions to a SSFX-trigger directly. These can have multiple actions per trigger. The shorter the 'chain' the faster these scripts runs, I remember I tested this a long time ago.
Code:
currenty:
SSFX Trigger 1 -> Relay -> Target1
                    +----> Target2
                    +----> ...
faster:
SSFX Trigger 1 -> Target1
SSFX Trigger 1 -> Target2
SSFX Trigger 1 -> ...
Just an idea that could lower the script execution time, but maybe MacGruber Relay was used for some reason or just better organization ... valid for such a complex scene.

No Audio Pitch problems on camera position change if we stay @ around 20 ms
you can scroll with the mouse like crazy at that latency no problems i guess the Audio Pitch problems begin @ higher latency above 20 ms

Maybe Sallys Plugin Timer overhead causes it above a certain latency ?

Could be a Zen 2 problem though or a specific setup issue not easy to tell for now, needs more test without Sallys Plugin interfering in the Render Update
Pipeline

Nope it's not directly related to the latency

Stable no Pitch problems

Bringing Hair rendering and Simulation back (still stable)

What if you disable "Spatialize" on the AudioSource-Atom?
(aka "__________Core/MMDPlayerAudio" in this scene)

It's stable currently it becomes unstable at a certain point there is currently at this test stage very low light overhead i guess as soon as the light overhead comes back problems will start

Seems most problems have come from Post Magic once again

Man i hate it's instability since it fucked up with the Scaling and those Alpha Floating

Easy solution disable the Shit Post Magic and everything is fine at best never touch this evil failing plugin

Unity fully fucked up the Render Pipeline with their Post back then it's a mess in that state inside VAM a total stability mess, it causes so much problems much more than just usual visual problems.

If you have any kind of stability issues first thing you should always check if Post Magic is enabled and it should always be the first thing to disable and check again and with disable i mean don't let it ever load as soon as it loads it's over and you will face evil trying to destroy it cleanly.

MacGruber, the author of PostMagic, knows it's "crap". Not his fault. This these Unity features where only experimental back then.

From a direct message with him:
... As you suspect, PostMagic just hooks up to PostProcessingStack, although a VERY early/crappy version before it was part of Unity by default. ...
At least we have this option and it's free.
It's just one of those many "old tech 2018 Unity"-version problems that will hopefully be gone with VAM 2.x.

Anyone got any tips on how to record with ZHFX's MMDPlayer? I'm currently pressing Start on timeline manually so there's always a slight delay for the stagelights.

- Replaced the demo with a much shorter (16 seconds) one.

What is the reason for this ?

Why downgrading it ?

I can only think of one reason someone would do this suddenly

i guess another Patreon is going to get Born

Nope, it's not going to happen, all my stage related scene will be released here for free. The reason was that most people don't have the patience to finish the longer demo and it might break things. Again sorry for the late reply, I don't know there was a discussion here. :oops:
