Kelp CUA - Rigged - A Kelp CUA, rigged with bones and collision in Unity to allow for physics interactions

This is a kelp asset that I'm using in one of my scenes. Made it a separate asset under CC-BY incase anyone else wanted to use it for any other scene.

The kelp model itself is from @Farger's Under The Sea assetbundle, much thanks to him for publishing so many rich and varied assets for the entire community to play with.

The original model was just a static CUA. I attached bones to it in Blender and...

Btw, if you want to use this as actual swaying kelp for something underwater, I highly recommend using @wgsoup's WindControl++. It is an excellent plugin, with numerous customization and tweaking options. Being able to toggle and set the force ratio per atom is next level stuff.
 
This looks/sounds amazing! I really enjoyed Farger's underwater scene, and having collidable/"wind"-able kelp now takes things to the next level.

...gah, I should stop keeping up with VaM content updates rn! I still can't try out any of it 😭

Sweet! Glad you can make use of it. There is very little full underwater content, so I wasn't sure how it would be used, but happy to add another little component for people to build with.
