Some scenes scripted clothing changes, e.g., to show different stages of clothing. I appreciate the design, while often I prefer to keep using my preferred appearance preset (including clothing) and don't want the clothing to be overwritten.
Is there a low-barrier solution to disable such scripted clothing changes in a scene (without the need to significantly examine and tamper the scene vars?)

Solution
You can try going to the "Clothing Presets" and/or "Appearance Presets" tabs of the person and toggle the checkbox for "Lock Controlled Param Values". That should override any triggers changing clothes in most scenes.
