I can't find downloaded looks.

When i open apperance tab or control tab, i cant find my downloaded looks from hub. I can only see and select looks if i downloaded with scene on hub. What should i do? Pls help.

Some Looks posted on the hub are just a scene. You have to save an Appearance Preset locally to use them in another scene. Use only the Appearance Preset tab for this. The presets on the Control tab are considered obsolete legacy presets. Some Looks do come as an Appearance Preset with or even without a scene. It varies.

The current style Appearance presets are not loaded from the control&physics1 tab. Don't use Load look from there. When you use Appearance preset > Select existing, it starts looking in your local area Custom\Atom\Person\Appearance. On the menu on the left, select AddonPackages Filtered (or flat, which can be slow), then choose one of the packages you downloaded. All the named preset tabs start looking in your Custom folder. You have to select AddonPackages. Make sure all the .var files you download are in the AddonPackages folder.

Try a simple test. Download my Mayte character from the hub. There is a nude appearance preset, and a sample scene. There's also a clothing preset. If you can't load these, you're doing something wrong.

I think problem is solved. I dont know how did i solved but the problem is some reason downloaded custom var files are 0kb. I cleaned my cache and problem solved. The new problem is i want to download old contents but hub says its already in library so i cant download them again.

You have to delete all damaged or null var files in order to force the tool to download them again. Var files are just zip files with a special structure for the content inside. Open any suspect files with 7-Zip just to verify they will open. Install 7-Zip if you don't have it, select a var file, RMB -> 7-Zip -> open archive. If it opens without error, then just close it. That one is OK. If 7-Zip throws an error, close it and delete that file too.
