Face_Wizard - One click = one face !

Face_Wizard is an ultra-simple plugin for instantly generating faces, while also offering an advanced category-based mode.

With just one click, you can create an original facial look, or refine it using more advanced settings.

Below you’ll find two demonstration videos (1 & 2), followed by an overview of the user interface and its main features (3), some additional details (4), and credits (5)...

So, I've been playing with this for a while now and I really like it. I found the looks work best if I:
1. deactivate the face category - keeps the looks more plain but also more manageable
2. limit the morphs for it to choose from (like in a fresh install)

I noticed it uses all the morphs available and I have a bunch downloaded (spacedog reloaded, kemenate, wolverine, etc) which means I have, for example, 4 "Eyebrows strong" in the available morphs so they appear to tend to multiply and give some crazy results. Is it possible to add the ability to only use "Built In" morphs?

Nice idea, I like it. A couple of suggestions I have:

1) an input window that we can use to search for morphs/categories to exclude per region. There are a lot of morphs in vam that are expressions but sit in the morph section rather than the "pose" section.

2) an option to exclude duplicate morphs by name. I know you can go in and manually deselect duplicates, but... that's a lot of clicking.

Don't even get me started on what the "deep eyelids" section looks like.

😯That's a lot of Eyelids!

I did quite a few tests on my 3 versions of VAM: “Clean” (75 pages of morphs), “Half clean” (246 pages of morphs) and “Dirty” (614 pages of morphs) and, indeed, depending on the version, the optimum settings are not the same, especially for the Morphs / Cat slider.
As for the “Face” category, it contains morphs that are often strong and often act on all parts of the face: so you can either (i) deactivate it (ii) or limit the generation amplitude for the "Face" category with Min and Max (this is the option I prefer).
For duplicates: you're right and I'm going to implement a function to avoid them (I don't know when!). For the time being, you can manually deselect duplicates (it's tedious, but you'll only have to do it once and save your preset).
As for the possibility of using only Built in morphs, I tried it once but found that the results were too uniform, so I didn't implement it. The current code doesn't allow it and the best solution is to install a 100% clean version of VAM and use the plugin in that version.

There are a lot of them indeed!
As I was saying to CheersMate, I've definitely added an anti-duplicate function to my to-do list.
Your other idea (an input window to search for morphs) is a good one too. Overall, the secondary pages (for each part of the face) can be significantly improved and I have a few ideas (to which I'll add yours)! (y)

Do you think, in a future update, you could implement a "head" section ?

Not really, because in a way it's already done! For the sake of balance, the “Face” section already uses morphs for Head, Forehead and so on.
If you really want to isolate the morphs for the head, you can select only them in the “Face” section and save a dedicated preset.

Oh I did not see that, I'll check in more detail. Thanks

This is a vam unicorns, rainbows, and santa's at my window with his dic.....er.....presents in hand kind of vam wet dream come true - any chance we can commish you to do a body version @PangolinBob

I feel like I've found my first fan, thank you 😉
Body_Wizard already exists ... but on my PC !
That said, yes, I may publish it, but first I'd like to finish Face_Wizard by improving the UI and functionalities of the Secondary pages (for each face part), which I'm still not entirely satisfied with.

Face is already MONUMETAL, so any improvements there is just more icing on the icing! Looking forward to bod_wiz if you decided to publish it and anything else coming from your talented lanes, P-Bob, thanks!
