Does ALVR passthrough still works?

What is your ALVR version? any step to step tutorial? Also which wifi router are you using?

UGH...Can you see if this is all right..
1. Install ALVR V18.2.3 onto PC
2. Sideload ALXR onto Quest (New one from 11/19)
3. Start ALVR on PC...it starts up SteamVR...in ALVR I trust the Quest
4. In headset start ALXR and get a green
5. Start VAM from PC .... it loads into Headset
6. Add CamerBackground Color into Session Plugin
7. Here is where the buttons dont do anything.

Thanks...Got it working. This should be clarified that its not the Left Menu.

yes i know about that. You can use green screen for it. Because black screen messes up with black hair and stuff.

But I think Korejan's Nightlys do not support other than black, or am I wrong?

Ok, I tried the latest one and for me it still works on black. Is there a hidden setting?
Or are you using the modified client which was given here on the Hub?

Arent you using the green one? I'm pretty sure you were one of the commenter

Ok, so I was right. The official nightly builds from Korejan do not support colorscaling, just black.
So I do go back to the modified client which supports green.
Will ask the developer about supporting it on his official client anyway

Whats the difference of nightly? Is there any difference at all? Have you tried it with pico4 if you have one?

The developer of ALXR (Korejan) does provide stable and nightly releases. He suggests using always the latest Nightly Builds (https://github.com/korejan/ALXR-nightly/releases) because of bugfixes and improvements.
However, his releases do not support colourscaling yet (i.e. green). They still use black only, which is in most cases unsatisfying.

Somebody on the Hub has modified the client (for Quest/Quest2) to support green some weeks ago. This is most likely based on a pretty old version by now.

Dumb question but I'm puzzled trying to get this to work.

Do you need to install all 23 ALXR files?
With the apk files how to you side load them to quest? Downloaded on pc but the files do not show in the download flie on pc to insert to sideload. Im sure I'm not doing this correctly but figured I would give it another shot.

Do you have to use Steam? I have oculus and use oculus app with link. When headset is connected it goes to oculus app is that right?
