Facial hair, specifically Beards have always bothered me in VAM.

Simulated beard hair can look good close up on high detail, but start to flicker when viewed from further away, and can really hurt performance. So could turn down the details, but then they just look bad! They can look particularly silly when your character starts moving around!

We just can't catch a break, so I tried looking for alternatives, Beard Textures, and found that there was a particular lack of a variety of beard...
