RandomVAMUser submitted a new resource:

Basement - basic scene/environment

this is not final build, everything is subject to change (think of it as "early access")

basic scene/environment Basement

No dependencies, all vam included.

Some info:
-created and tested in Desktop Mode (since i don't use VR)
-room height is similiar to DreamStreetBedroom (Y=3.000)
-person atom spawns in center of room
-entire room is linked to cube above, so you can move it freely
Code:
   "contentList" : [...

RandomVAMUser updated Basement with a new update entry:

Basement 3.0 Final

After few weeks delay this one is finally finished.
As usual i did go overboard, then again this is scene not an asset,
so remove stuff you don't like (there's always alt scene).

Overall changes:
-all ramaining atoms linked to "_room_link_cube"
-renamed all remaining atoms (not possible to mergeScene with previous versions)
-renamed and changed custom textures to load from RVU.Dependencies...

is the ping pong playable? I was able to get billard pretty playable in VR, ball physics is not bad, should be able to do ping pong with just in game assets

umm...nope! It's mostly aesthetic-filler, :ROFLMAO:
but if anyone wanna make playable table is more then welcome.

I just don't like how unpredictable VAM physics are, especially when colliding 2 shapes with physics (tried to do sometype of newton's cradle once, no luck).
Sometimes it works, sometimes no collision or it just teleports into abyss.
Physics kinda work if dragging on surface, my remote car (cube+cycleforce) works.

So billard sounds more doable then ping-pong, cuz of flat surface/no jumping/bouncing.

yeah, physics is kinda wonky from time to time, that's one big reason why I have not yet release my pool game

WOW!
The way your spheres react after "break shot", i can tell you spent a lot of time polishing those balls ("settings"). ?
Looks really smooth, also taking into account wonky physics, this is achievement on its own.
Very impressive.
