Are these error messages normal? and should I worry about them? Or worry about fixing them? I feel like my VAM works great and I have been using it a while like this so I was curious if these mean anything or if I should worry about them:

If you look in your AddonPackages folder you will probably see duplications with " (2).var" written at the end of the file name. You probably pasted them into a folder that already contained them. That "( 2)" is messing with the file naming convention, which should end with the version number.var. If you get rid of the duplicates or delete the "( 2)" some of these messages will go away. I'm not sure about the zip thing, but If you bring up the package manager in game, you can search for the missing dependencies listed too. Some of them may not be on the hub though.

I had the same issue with the "SharpZipLib" error...found out a bunch of my VARs were corrupted when I transferred them from a failing hdd...try and open "ascorad.Eridane.2.var" as a zip file...if it doesnt open with Windows ZIP or 7Zip then its corrupted...delete and try to re-download.

Great tip, i went thru and i had about 80~ or so duplicates. That did clear up some of these errors.

I also followed your second recommendation and I believe you are right..... I recently subscribed to around 7 patreons and downloaded a mass amount of scenes and I believe these "missing" ones are from old scenes that that are referencing packages that were once available though the hub....

Thanks, I saw your thread and that helped! and it actually influenced me to try and clean up my AddonPackages folder.... I have 1500~ var's in there and its a bit overwelming.
I ended up just deleting those that wouldn't open as a zip.

Just a thought, cause I am no good at this at all, lol, but to make life easier on those of you who want to clean up easier and not just for the game but the pc as a whole. I have duplicate cleaner pro. It's a great program and will list all files with 2, 3, 4, and so on duplicate files. I can un scans on full drives except C. It forces you not to set up a full disk scan for C. Anyway, I thought it might make life easier for some folks. Maybe sense im here because I have a problem too I'll just go ahead and post to see if I can get some help. I am using the new voxta, and the scenarios for VAM are great. I am able to voices chat clearly and hassle free with Voxta, Cathleen and the dude on the Voxta site. However, and I've loaded the files every way it is explained to try. 1 Through discord, 2 through patreon, 3 the open... you get the idea. Anyway everything loads up fine except when I press the Voxta switch, so I can have comms with the characters, as soo as I press the button I get the same message on all scenarios. something like, " Missing resources, the app might try to redownload it: now this is in green at the end of the sentence... : character: then depending on the scenario a long code with numbers and letters. charactor through the code is in green also. What am I missing. it's not just one of the Voxta/VAM scenarios, its every one. Oh, I keep the Voxta server up so I can see the progress and that is where I see the message, missing resources message. oh it will not let me communicate with the characters when that message pops up. So if anyone knows off hand please help. Thanks C.H.
