Forum Rules and Guidelines

Content Policies

Content posted in our forums must abide by the content policies outlined in our Terms.
In addition, we have the following content rules for our Forums:
- No Advertisements. Paid resource links are automatically posted in the Resource Discussion Boards.
Outside of that, we do not allow paid links or advertising elsewhere in our Forums.
- No real names. No requests for lookalikes of real persons. As a note: This is a site-wide rule. You may not post real names or request lookalikes of real persons anywhere on our site, including on someone's profile page.
- Rules specific to individual forums will be pinned to the top of that forum. For example, see Rules for the Q&A forum.
- Please do not share real images or photos unless they are on topic. No one wants to see your junk.
- If you were expecting more rules here, you all are not children. We expect everyone to interact with respect and to act with decency and courtesy.

Posting Guidelines

- Please do not "necro" threads. Before you reply to a thread, please check the date of the original post and make sure you're not responding to something that is no longer relevant / too old.
- The "Help" forum is for general questions, like "How do I get started as a creator?", whereas the "Questions and Answers" forum is for specific questions, such as "What's the best plugin to adjust lighting and mood".
- Do not post requests in the Help or Q&A forums. Please post requests in "Requests to Community". A request, for example, might begin with "Can someone...?" or "Does anyone know who can...?" whereas "help" usually starts with "How do I....?"
- Bug reports regarding VaM can be posted to the VaM Bug Reports forum, but keep in mind that development for VaM 1.X is frozen while we complete development of VaM 2.
- Bug reports for the Hub website can be posted in Hub Feedback (or better yet, sent in a support ticket).
