Rules for our Media Section
Content Policies
All media posted on the Hub must comply with the content policies outlined in our Terms.
See our content standards guide for specifics.
In addition to these standard policies, we have the following rules for the media section:
If your image was not created using VaM, then it does not belong in the media section. The media section is intended to be a showcase of in-game screenshots from VaM.
This means no photos, drawings, or advertisements.
Screenshots from your works-in-progress in 3D modeling programs or Unity are OK.
External image editing — in Photoshop, GIMP, or any similar tool — falls into two buckets:
Allowed: Technical and graphic design work that doesn't alter how the VaM-rendered content itself appears. This includes:
- Cropping, resizing, format conversion, and file size optimization
- Text overlays, titles, and captions
- Frames, borders, and vignettes
- Logos, watermarks, and branding
- Basic exposure and brightness correction (for fixing an underlit or overexposed screenshot)
Not allowed: Edits that alter the appearance of the VaM-rendered content itself. This includes:
- Color grading, stylistic filters, or "look" presets applied to the rendered scene
- Skin smoothing, detail enhancement, or beautification filters
- Painting over, retouching, or compositing elements into the scene
- AI-generated imagery, AI upscaling, or AI-based alterations of any kind*
*DLSS5 runtime AI
- Use of DLSS5 plugins (runtime AI post processing) is allowed, but must be placed in the appropriate DLSS5 category
No spamming for self promotion.
Please be courteous regarding the number of images posted showcasing a specific resource.
The moderation team has a hard limit of ~10 media items per self-promoted resource.
Example of something that is OK: Posting a showcase video and a few showcase images from your scene.
Example of something that is NOT ok: Releasing a "poses" pack and posting a separate image of every single pose to the media section. Descriptive images like these should be in your resource description, not the media gallery.
No external or paid links.
No links to paid content of any kind, including links to content hosted on the Hub. This includes sharing links in your media comments section.
No external (off-site) links of any kind.
Rules for Interacting with Content- Be respectful with your comments and reviews. Not everyone shares the same likes and dislikes. We do not allow kink shaming here. If something is not to your taste, please move on. If something violates our site policies, please report it by clicking "report" when viewing the item.
- If you do not wish to see FUTA/LGBT content in the Media section, you can adjust that in your Account Preferences. However, you are required to be respectful to other creators regardless of your personal tastes.
