I don't think automatic BPM finding can be done, but could I suggest shamelessly cloning tap BPM site to semi-automatically do it?
You'd just tap a button to the beat, and it'd estimate BPM from that.
Incredibly based, but I insist that you should maybe ask Meshed if he doesn't want the work you did become an actual update. For free, if you wish, but I think you deserve at least a couple bucks since you did him significant optimization work.
Nice. But still, yikes, and my CPU doesn't handle AVX2 unfortunately. Hope this does end up implemented at least tentatively as an option in the base game. Maybe talk Meshed up and see if you can't get at least a couple bucks out of it?
As much as I like the sound of this but... replacing DLL files? Yikes. What did you exactly do, why can't meshed implement these changes? What's the drawback? Don't tell me you just picked up performance breadcrumbs he left on the floor.
The way I do it is, I set the cycle to 1 second then play with the speed slider until I get something that matches. I generally avoid using animation speed - it's kind of janky.
Any, really. Though I was thinking more items than people. Basically, I want to create items out of shapes VAM already provides, but can't do much with them.
Techpriest, can I bother you to make a plugin that will let us noclip select colliders?
Essentially, I want for example, collider A to collide with collider B but not collider C or D, while retaining normal collisions otherwise. This is my big item on the VAM wishlist for a while now.
This is pretty crazy, hope it gets more development. If something like this that would also use layered colormaps for post-processing sim stripping instead of vanilla VAM strip mechanics, it would be fantastic. I have no idea how that would function as it's a very rough idea I have in my head.
