Both LUTs and Lighitng are essential to create a nice atmosphere... but... how you deal with them?
I mean... a LUT changes the overall colors of the scene... including the lights color. So... what's your way to balance them?
Any advice is appreciated. :)
Hi guys! Could someone explain to me the difference between these two things?
I see that both of them "changes colors"... but, i can't understand if there is a difference between them.
Thanks in advance! ;)
I'm on a Quest 2. I want to hear VaM audio from (let's say) my desktop speakers instead of the quest builtin speakers... any way to do this?
Changing the windows output device seems to not work. If i set "Oculus Virtual Audio Device" or any other devices, nothing changes in VaM... but it works...
I asked this on the "Question and Answers" sub-forum and maybe it was not clear that this was, indeed, a request. So... i'm posting this here also.
In the other thread (link) a nice cat said that this could be possible. I'm hopeful.
Here is my request with a little addition:
- An unlit shader...
Is it possible to have an emissive shader on the basic shape atoms (Cube, IsCube, Sphere, IsSphere, etc...)?
It could be great if the shader can be applied to specific materials and allows the use of the alpha map but, just having an emissive shader of any sort will be nice.
Hi guys... I recently went back to playing Wildlife and the question I wrote in the title arose.
How is it possible that models with far fewer polygons than those available in VAM look so much sexier? Is it possible that such a result cannot be achieved in VAM?
Even the environmental occlusion...
What are your first impressions?
Does it works in VR?
In the announce the devs said that it is limited in "AR (VR)". It is not clear if they mean "AR (which is a kind of VR)" or "AR (and also VR)".
This is a thing that dosen't always happen but, sometime, parented atoms slowly translate away along all the axis. It's so slow that the movement is not noticeable but, if i look in the Move Panel... i can see the numbers changing every bunch of seconds.
It's seem also that, at some point, they...
I mean something like that: https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/spaceboxes-101.2294/
But with panoramic subjects like mountains, valleys, beach, lake, forest... in short, everything but space... 🤣
Let's be clear: I'm a noob about VR so... this may be a very well known issue but... the performance boost is too much to not ensure that everyone on the planet know that.
I discovered this "trick" thanks to MacGruber explanation of Asynchronous Spacewarp (alias Motion Smoothing). So... give a...
Hi guys... time ago i've seen an FPS Limiter plugin in the HUB. At that time, i tought i'll never need it but now... i've understood how much it can be usefull!
In VR, i can run very simple scenes (1 person atom and 1 or 2 pixel lights) at 70 fps... and more complex scenes at 35 fps (quest 2...
Hi guys! I've just got my hands on an Oculus Quest 2 and i have various questions but... let's start with:
How many FPS should i achievie on the default scene with one girl and 3 light? My PC specs are: GPU GeForce GTX 1080, CPU Intel i7 6700K, RAM 16 GB DDR4.
It seems that i can't get above...
So... my scene is becoming complex and, since i don't have a VR Headset, i really really really (did i say "really"?) NEED the UI Atoms like UIButton, UISlider, etc. to stay on the HUD.
Anyway possible?
Hi guys! I've just subscribed. VAM is, finally, what i was waitng for... for a very long time! The power of modern GPUs, applied in a very (heigh quality) professional way to the adult entertainment world.
That said... it is possible to use Leap Motion in desktop mode?
If yes... how? I tried...
