Hi Guest!
Please be aware that we have released another critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.12 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.
Details about the security patch can be found here.
I checked to see if this was asked before but didn't find any results. Is there a way to change the scale of a person atom via trigger? The reason being I'm building a girl generator with various body types which will include different atom scales. However, I'm also building stories where I want...
I came back to VAM recently and this is still a problem. I downloaded some of latest VARs from the past year and my list is well over 1000, this is too much to go through even batch by batch. I've simply come to accept this routine of starting VAM, rescan packages, and then start session.
VAM...
Hello, for the small amount of followers still following me, note that I'm not dead lol. I've just been really busy on other projects (Android apps). I've gotten to itch to get back into VamBlaster. I love creating stories, and I enjoy creating stuff. I'm going to start releasing again soon...
I stopped using this method. The BVH animations are 99.9% garbage and not really usable in regular scenes. I don't understand why all the walking animations looking like they're walking like humpty dumpty for example.
Either is a good option. I like the Auto option in SteamVR because it will upscale depending on performance.
Also, motion smoothing is a must have to turn on. Literally makes VAM so much more playable when native framerates dip and even when "normal". Motion is liquid smooth at higher...
Note that you use some beneficial features of SteamVR such as upscaling (better image quality) and smooth motion (gives illusion of much higher framerate).
Sorry, I've just been really busy with other stuff. The good news is that there will be two back to back projects that I will release, as I've been working on both on and off at the same time. The second one, which is what has taken me so long, is to provide a full automated story experience...
Been a bit longer than 2 weeks hasn't it lol. That's because I'm rebuilding the scene from scratch. Won't be much longer but it will be worth the wait, especially if you liked the kind of humor from my prior episodes.
Ok, so you modified the scene and ported the movement to timeline. You left the animation patterns in the asset however down to the name. The animation movement is exactly the same. You did not port these assets from scratch, because your button locations, lighting, etc... is exactly the same as...
Hmmm... I don't understand what this means. Maybe you can clarify, are you Oeshii with a different name?
Your subway train is exactly the same as @oeshii from many years ago. It moves exactly the same with the same exact custom unity assets and the exact same animation patterns and are even...
Did you credit Oeshii for using his subway car complete with the same tunnel and movements? Did you make it clear using the subway car is not a paid content license?
There's a licensing issue I believe here. The original subway car, compete with tunnel and movement, was originally created by Oeshii and is a free asset:
Why did you need permission from Nial to use the subway car? I also checked Nial's resource on this and he does not credit Oeshii for the...
A new UNIQUE scene in progress, far more ambitious in story than I've done so far. And all you have to do is sit down and relax, and enjoy the subway ride (hint lol). ETA in approximately 2 weeks.
The only method I've seen that does this reliably, and can be triggered like from a button, is MacGruber's randomchoice plugin. It is just a chore however to add entries manually, especially from a folder with dozens of presets. I may look into how to read from a folder but I really hate coding...
VamBlaster submitted a new resource:
How to use Google Street View images as Sky Domes - Import street view images into VAM as skydomes
Read more about this resource...
This is a tutorial on how to use Google Street View images as a skydome in VAM. I realize there is another tutorial on this posted back in January, but it's in Korean and doesn't really explain much in detail. I hope this offers more clarity and ease of use.
For the tutorial please download the...
