    Plugins + Scripts Timeline

There is. Can't recall the name of the option without looking at it, but cycle forces can disable the loop. Matter of fact, I've used a similar "technique" in a test scene, except the motion was directly controlled by mouse, and the cycle force would produce a resistance factor based on...

    Plugins + Scripts Timeline

Don't think it's possible, but I'm not an expert. What you can do is have the left-right loop and then apply a cycle force to the head, with the slider controlling the force, which would result in a back and forth motion.

    Scenes First visit (dynamic anim)

When I started messing about in VAM, I searched high and low for a way to fix buttons to the screen, instead of 3d space. Parenting to camera, various plugins, etc. When I tried canvas button, I said "this is it". I will have a look at DockedUI. If it allows both desktop and vr users to have a...

    Scenes First visit (dynamic anim)

Could you reference one of his scenes where he uses it? I checked his latest one, but the buttons were fixed. By fixed I mean if I turn the camera the buttons stay in place and leave frame. They don't act like say, a game's ui, or VAM's own ui.

VaM 1.x Atoms on and off by string

Relay work well. Button tells relay to turn everything off and then turn the approapriate elements on. This solution involves more CPU processing (I know, I'm splitting hairs on an atomic level, especially on this particular scene which is just a menu), but more importantly, it's much easier to...

VaM 1.x Atoms on and off by string

I've finished saving a solution. It's not elegant, but it works. The whole problem I had was somehow "saving" the elements that were turned on when menu clicking, so that the next click would turn those specific ones off, instead of each button having to turn everything off, and then the...

    Scenes First visit (dynamic anim)

Sorry guys. As mentioned, the scene is intended for desktop use. I can't even test vr, since I don't have a headset. The reason I use those types of buttons is precisely because it was one of the few plugins were buttons stayed in place no matter what. At least in desktop mode. You can try to...

VaM 1.x Atoms on and off by string

That would certainly help with common elements, but I'd still like something more streamlined. Good idea nonetheless.

VaM 1.x Atoms on and off by string

I have a scene with a menu-like interface: click an ui button, show some elements (atoms on), hide a bunch (atoms off). The turning off of atoms has to account for all the possibilities, which means I have to turn off everything that isn't turned on and the mountains of triggers are starting to...

    Plugins + Scripts Timeline

Parenting atoms or nodes may lead to some weirdness if they also have keyframes in timeline. It also depends on how you parent (parent to object / control, parent with physics link or parent link). There's also a parent method in timeline, which works best if you want to keep a node parented...

    Plugins + Scripts Timeline

Sequence and / or layers might cause some issues if not configured correctly. Describe the movement you're trying to do, if you're playing one animation or all, if your atoms are synched, if you have a master atom, etc. A short video or animated gif could help.
