    Itch.io vamX installer issue

    I am trying to get started with vamX I purchased through itch.io. I plan to get the monthly Patreon membership for updates and chat. My issue is I download the installer and windows 11 keeps asking my to choose a file to open installer. I need help. What protocols do I follow. Thanks
