Thanks for your reply. However, I made a texture based on the sculpted figure, and this texture aligns with the figure's mesh, but not with the figure's uv. Why is this? Because when I made the texture, the texture was rendered according to the mesh distribution, not according to the uv. And in...
"Convert"? No.
Vam only uses Daz Genesis 2 models. You would need to overlay it over a base geometry gen2 .obj in blender and sculpt the morph from that.

I've noticed that the skin maps seem to be different on the way blenders charactors has the UV mapping, how would I set up the blender model to share the same mapping that the Daz/Vam girl has as this way would be easiset cuz I've texture painted in blender prior. It's been a while since Ive...
A lot of improved look in blender comes from not being real-time rendered. So we can add a massive amounts of child hairs, ray traced rendering and an expensive hair shader and just let it take 30 minutes to render a single frame. Meanwhile games like Vam needs to render a frame in 0.01 seconds...
Thanks for suggestions. really appreciate your help. Only thing i don't understand, if i have accessory/jewelry in DAZ , why do i need blender? even Genesis 2 dress/ accessory comes distorted in VAM.
Logically, I don't need to make anything fit in blender if accessory /jewelry is in DAZ 3D...
Hi All,
Is there a plugin (or any other way) to do Shadow Catcher within VAM instead of in post?
The real question is how to do it within VAM without go to another software such as Blender or After Effects:
More Details of what I'm trying to achieve:
I usually do that in post (After Effects...
anyone have a good workflow to make blend shapes from Blender, to Unity toVam?
I get an issue making a shape in Blender with a key that modifies it, but then I import it to Unity and dont see the key...I must be missing a step
HolySchmidt has the right idea. You could also try making your own fine adjustment externally.

You have a screenshot of the item, should be able to do it as a cua. Also superio did this guide

??? Ive recently started to get daz clothes into VaM.. but always get an error message regarding to many verts.. remesh in blender.. Will this work for that too.. the same process of export as obj, remesh in blender and then import as obj and retex again??
Ok I found some guides but I'm not sure that this is all I need.

Hello again. Won't spam threads but I have another question.
I was told it's possible to make clothes in Blender as opposed to Daz. Are there any guides anyone knows of so I can use my currently learned Blender stuff to start making clothes as well as morphs?
Basically know how to make stuff...
I found a piece of clothing that I really like, but it's from HS2. I used Asset Studio to extract the model and fitted it onto DAZ's G2F.
I've encountered some problems:
1. The clothing involves some hard metal accessories. I need to simulate only gravity while ensuring the accessories...
For the model, I use Blenderto sculpt and DAZ to apply the rig for VAM use =). For things like rigged assets, I use Blenderto rig and Unity to apply the physics/collision information to create an asset bundle. Hope that answers your question! ^_^.
I exported as .obj from VAM and imported toblender, and there are about 30 broken textures. Can't find the default textures anywhere in VAM folders. I can use custom skins found on the HUB for face/body/limbs, but I'm still missing lots of textures like eyelashes and teeth.
Goal was to create...
