My updated plugin here will cause controllers to disappear in SteamVR. If you are SteamVR users, please use this one from fholger instead: https://github.com/fholger/openvr_foveated replace the openvr_api.dll under ".\VaM_Data\Plugins" with the new one and edit openvr_mod.cfg for your setup...

I think if you want to abandon valve index and get a quest just to use this plugin, it's not worth it.... You should probably get a better GPU with that money. If a lot of people found the plugin to be useful, I can also try adapting it to SteamVR. But I am currently not sure how...

It is actually a tool that you can adjust for you setup. You can reduce the center radius more if you want more performance, but you will have smaller part of image to look sharp. You can also use upscale methods CAS, FSR, NIS but that also reduces graphics quality.

I also tried with SteamVR but, unfortunately, it seems to be incompatible.
