Need help with custom morph eyes and hair.

So I converted a character over to Vam from daz3d and it turned out great, until I saw the eyes. So I went back into daz and turned off the morph on the eyes but that made them misaligned with the rest of the face. I tried to change the eyeball position in Vam but I can't seem to get it in the...

Question Probably a dumb question: Is it ok to use another creators free looks in your free/paid scenes?

It's not in Unity. I think ppl do some parts inside vam and others in 3d modeling programs, I don't know for sure. Check these: https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/requested-info-workflow-of-how-i-do-my-looks-faces.12514/overview-panel...

Wrap Clothing to Custom Shape - Or Corrective Clothing Morphs

I've been scanning the forum to see if this has already been requested or is already possible, so apologies if I'm duplicating a thread :) A lot of my custom characters are curvy. I sculpt custom morphs in Blender. I've had some trouble with clothing around the thighs, glutes, and belly...

Plugins + Scripts Blender templates to convert OBJs exported from VAM into OBJs that use UDIM

I'm following the instructions but I get an error and it won't split and place the UDIM like shown in the images above. On the 1-2-3 Instructions it doesn't say what Options to choose when import OBJ so I leave on default: "Split By Object" is the only one that checked. I'm not sure if it's ok...

Why is VaM rendering much faster than Daz3d (and other 3d modeling software)?

Vam doesn't render in the same sense as Daz or blender etc. They use raytraced\pathtraced rendering which is very accurate but awfully slow as its done on a pixel by pixel basis where as Vam is a rasterized render which is much faster to render allowing "realtime" rendering.

Monster ideas - two headed giant

I saw a cyclops posted recently and that's awesome. I'd like to see more monsters on VAM, specifically a two headed giantess / giant. Maybe it could be modeled in Blender and made into a morph. Might be tricky to animate, though.

Question How to create a morph

The Wiki is for VaM solely. Morphs are used in VaM but they come from the use of the Genesis 2 DAZ figures. You can make custom morphs taking the G2 figure from DAZ and import it into Blender or others, do the changes, import it back to DAZ and then you can export it to be used in VaM. This is...

    Plugins + Scripts HairExporter

I don't know if this has been asked or even mentioned, but I wonder if it is possible to do the same, but in reverse? Like export and convert Blender hair to VaM hair. I would think that the obsticle would be re-importing it into VaM. That would definitely be a game changer though.

Possible to import rigged sex toy assets into VAM?

I can't find any .obj files in my VAM install. How do I export the base female model? If I can get that default female body into Blender, I should be able to trim the limbs off to make a torso right? The issue is then getting it BACK into VAM with physics I guess?

    Idea - shape sculpting tool

It would be cool to have a way to 'sculpt' the shapes within VAM like you can in Blender. It would allow the custom shapes in VAM like the cube and sphere to have visible vertices and surfaces you can manipulate and create sculptures inside VAM. Maybe it could be done with a plugin / scene for...

Guides Vam to Blender to Vam

Hi Juno, thanks for your guide. I tried following it but was met with a Geometry did not match error in Daz when using MorphLoader Pro. To get the obvious out of the way, I didn't modify the mesh at all. First problem is the import/export menus in Blender 4.2 have changed: There is no longer...

    Daz 3d Help

Here is one that is pretty good. This link is an adult site: https://www.erome.com/a/H6ImegFr Here is another one: That uses GIMP to add weight to imported clothing. I'm not sure that either one deals with remapping clothes for a different generation to fit GF2. That is really a DAZ...

    Creating custom cumshot.

I' m making a giantess futa scene and want the giantess to produce a giant load, problem is I don't know how. I don't know anything about unity but I do know about blender. Will blender's fluid work inside VaM, if yes how? I'd like to know about all the ways cum can be achieved within vam...

Question Any guides to making complete new characters from scratch?

There are 2 tutorials right here on the Hub that have helped me. One where you use the Daz g2 model and another where you can export an obj from VAM as a starting point. Check them out here>Tutorials. Press the green download for one tutorial, scroll down and you will see the second tutorial.

    Solved Making CUA's?

Hi!! So, I have many idea's for CUA's in my head. But I never ever made anything. I know absolutely nothing about unity/blender or whatever program I'm gonna need. I have done some beginner things with Photoshop but I think that's a different kind of level. I saw some tutorials how to get...

Question any way to tweak mesh points/ create morphs

There's exporting as obj from Daz to blender and back in Daz and then to VaM: https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/how-to-use-blender-to-sculpt.2302/ Be sure to both import and export the obj with "Keep Vertex Order" option in blender, there's no fixing it if you forget. (there _may be_, but...

    Hub-Hosted VAR CC BY-NC

I got tired of using CUAs/Hair/Clothing to get a good looking pair of rabbit ears - this took way too long to tweak, but now I kinda know the VAM->DAZ->Blender->DAZ->VAM workflow! if you like this and want to see more, please rate and comment so I know!
