Plugins + Scripts Blender templates to convert OBJs exported from VAM into OBJs that use UDIM

You need to put the textures into the same folder and name them all the same but with a diffrerent (pre-)suffix: filename.udim_tile_number.png. E.g. Base_female.1001.png, Base_female.1002.png, ... etc. , with the texture content fitting the UV layout, so the torso texure needs to be *.1001.png...

Solved Any guides or tips how to import a self made model too VAM?

Hey, necro, but do you have a mirror for this? Seems it has disappeared, and I'm having a hard time finding *any* info on importing rigged .blend characters into VAM.

Working Vam-to-Blender workflow for sim hair

A all in one with base VaM options probably not. I know that in base VaM you can export the model (Control & Physics 1) with that grey button. Then you can import it in Blender or Daz and assign to the body parts the suitable textures you get from the VAR. For one model this is only a few...

    Orc fangs for male

Shouldn't be to hard. Export a gen 2 model from daz to blender and from the teeth mesh pull/move some vertices forming the shape export back to daz and from there export the morph to vam. Basically that's all you'll be doing but you should look into exporting and importing the models properly...

Possible to import rigged sex toy assets into VAM?

You can export the default person atom as an OBJ from VaM and do whatever you want with it. You can import a rigged (weight painted) mesh from blender to unity, but where you will run into issues is trying to apply softbody physics in Unity. If its just for a pre-built scene/screencap/movie type...

a scene I did in Blender forever ago converted to VaM. VR is cool enough, but walking around in Art I did before I even had a headset or decent computer's quite a trip down Memory Lane,.... There's a bunch more to do, I'm sure some of you could create some cool scenes in here when its complete :)

DAZ3D Morph Loader Pro Breaks Model

Hey guys, I've recently been trying my hand at developing custom looks for VAM, but have run into a major issue. Following the many guides online, I learned to import a Genesis 2 figure, set it to base resolution with zero subdivision, export it to Blender as an OBJ, export again with changes as...

    [request] princess zelda

hi ! I don't know if it's the correct place to do such a request, i'm sorry if it doesn't. I wanted to import this model in vam, from blender format but it involves some practice. I searched how to do it but it seems too complicated for me, I have no knowledge at all with modeling. I downloaded...

VaM2 better hurry up. Others are chasing your tail

I will express a couple of my thoughts. VAM is great in its boundless creativity, thanks to the creators of mods, the functionality continues to increase, and this is exactly what makes it so popular. VAM allows you to realize almost any (and if you know blender and unity, then any) fantasies...

Warning: Geometry did not match, failed to create morph.

So to be clear, you can create hair/clothes in Blender, and port them to VAM through DAZ, yes?

Question Correct way of making a models face based on images

Hi all, I used some guides in order to import a model from Vam to daz, and than from daz to blender. In blender I tried to create a face off an image but I dont get it: Why when i try to use the face builder Im doing it ONLY on a brand new face? Is there a way to just edit the face that is...

Can't convert gloves from Daz3d to VAM (HELP)

I must be doing something wrong because when I finally get the gloves to VAM and import the texture mapping, the textures are all messed up and not even remotely close to where they should be. Any advice at all? I must be doing something wrong when it comes to the import
