    I rolled back to the same VaM version you did your benchmark on. Redownloaded the patch and put the settings in that you did. I'm getting almost the same results as the .7 version. Not sure what I am missing here... What do you have in your boot.config file? Likely just going to redownload...

    Side note I'm quite happy with my PC overall performance so, likely will not look at any OCing. If I do anything, it will be water cooling my 4090. That thing will reach 90c if I'd let it.

    As of now, the highest temp my cpu has reached is right around 65c under sustained full load. The KS model comes with a small OC from factory and i have the K series (no OC). I would think I'm safe to OC if I wished to do so.

    Yeah, looks like by 4-5fps. I've not overclocked my CPU though. Not sure if the test I saw on here has an OC on the cpu. AMD looking like slight better performance for VAM though.

    I'd rather not wait a year to get a hold of a 5090 for a PC build. I'm not willing to pay $4k+ for scalper pricing on early production runs. By the time the 6090s come out I'll be ready for a new PC build anyway.

    I think the 5090s may be more than $3k for the first couple months. 4090s are discontinued now. Cheapest 4090s are about $2,600 right now with most right around $3,500. At least in the USA. I imagine 4090s may come back down once the 5090 is released but, I won't be surprised to see $4,000...

    Thanks! Finding 4090s right now is insanely difficult and when you do they are marked up ridiculously. I decided to skip waiting for a 5090 since they will likely launch end of q1 and probably cost a small Honda civic.

    Six instances of VAM at the same time... now we are cooking! Haha appreciate the demonstration! You mentioned previously that you occasionally have 2 instances of VAM running at the same time. Curious, what is the purpose for that? Is it one clean instance and one fully loaded instance?

    Haha understood. Only reason I track RAM is for DAZ. Another PC I have only has 32gb of RAM. I've maxed it quite a few times in DAZ. Never maxed it with VAM though.
