These voices have a pretty high voice quality for being generated almost instantly (for short phrases the delay is < 0.5 seconds for voice generation, instead of ~ 2 seconds).

New Models (new AIs to chat with)

Support for Llama 3 models. Llama 3 is more efficient and generally provides better, smarter, responses.

You can try the Llama 3 - Lunaris model (the new default). This model is fast, smart, and has a long memory (16k).

There is also now a Llama 3.1 70B model available for slower (but often better) responses.

Improved Existing Models (improved all existing AIs in vamX chat)

Fixed some issues to improve results from all models (including less repetition).

Better Memory / Conversations Over Time

All models will now do better with long conversations, but especially Llama 3 - Lunaris, WestLake, Silicon Maid and Llama 3 70B. These models all have 16k context, which means they can remember and respond well to long conversations.

As Always, Switch Models (AIs) to Improve the Conversation. If you are having a conversation with the AI, and don't like the response, switch the model, then press Retry Last (or if you are using NSFW Random AI, just press Retry Last). There are many models, and it's very easy to switch between models!

By request, we've added an Edit Character button to make it easy to scroll up and edit or summarize the personality (especially in VR where it can be hard to scroll). This button is next to Save Chat in the bottom right corner of the Web UI.

Editing the personality can be useful if you want to change the direction of the conversation without restarting the whole chat. You can also press Summarize Personality to take the whole chat history and turn it into an AI generated summary. Summarizing the personality can help for long chats where the AI would lose track of what's important, or where you want to edit the history (if she gets confused, changes the direction of the conversation in a way you don't want, or if you want to remove a part of the conversation history).

Fixed a long standing issue where she would (sometimes) say the same thing twice at the beginning of a response (if the response was split into parts and there was punctuation near the split).

In the Web UI press "Continue Story x2" to generate two sets of back-and-forth dialog. If a Male is shown in vamX he will speak his part of the dialog. If not, the global narrator voice will speak his dialog. You an also press "Continue (as Me)" for a single back-and-forth dialog set.

You can set the Male/2nd Person voice (the voice generated when using Continue Story x2) in the 2nd Person Voice drop down.

You can now Save and Restore a single chat. This is saved per server, so if you save a chat on the US server, you must restore it on the US server.

Added new option to remove text that would be narrated. For example sometimes the AI adds text that isn't spoken like in the response "Hi. (Jenny Smiles)." In that response, to keep immersion the new "Remove Would-be-Narrated" option for the Narrator simply would crop this response to only "Hi." If, instead you chose a narrator voice, Jenny would say "Hi." then the narrator would say "Jenny Smiles".

New Action Aware Personalities Deliberately Trigger Known vamX Actions.

Instead of the action system trying to guess an action from what she is saying, she says actions she knows she can perform in vamX.

You can choose what types of vamX Actions these new personalities can trigger. Action Aware personalities are mainly designed to trigger either Seamless Animations, Poses (vamX sex poses), or both. They also are designed to trigger clothes changes, toys, and simple sex actions (starting sex, orgasm).

You can customize these personalities fully, or just change the name (from "Jill" to "Horny Jill" or "Vampire Jill" or whatever) for a simple but large impact.

Added Mythalion 13B Chat model​

A new AI Chat model, Mythalion 13B, was suggested by a user and has been added as an option. This is an excellent and quick AI model that you can chat with. You can select it from the NSFW Random AI drop down (and it can also be randomly selected).

Continue (As Me) - ALPHA​

In the Web UI you can now ask the AI to write your response for you. Press Continue (As Me) and the AI will generate your response, then generate her response.

You can enter the first part of the response, then press Continue (As Me). For example if you type in "Sorry, " and then press Continue (As Me), the AI will generate something like "Sorry, I actually don't like going to the movies" (or whatever makes sense in the story).

So you can now specify the first part of your response, but have the AI write the rest.

You can use this with a microphone / speech recognition. You can say "Continue as me" and the AI will generate what you might say. If you want to start with "Sorry" you would say "Sorry, continue as me" and the AI would generate text for what you might say that starts with "Sorry".

The KoboldAI servers changed URLs. We've updated things on our end, and KoboldAI is now working again in vamX AI Chat.

New voice commands to control stroking or vibrating toys (The Handy, etc.) and multi-axis toys (SR6). Say things like "toy on for 10 seconds", "then off for 5 seconds", "toy penis tip", "toy penis base", "toy wider range", "toy position higher" (faster vibration), "toy rotate faster" (SR6) and more. You can now make your own personality sets using the Deepgram App, see the instructions in the Deepgram App folder after downloading the Deepgram App using the above link.

You can choose which types of vamX Actions may be triggered by the Chat AI. In the vamX Scene -> AI Chat section, check Lock Anims, Lock Look, or Lock Pose. For no Seamless Anims, check Lock Anims (while in a regular pose). For only Seamless Anims, check Lock Pose (and perhaps Lock Scene and Look too).

To have the Male or Threesome person speak as the Chat AI, change "Speak As: Female" to "Speak As: Male" (or 3rd Person) in the new Chat Web UI.

The Seamless Animation Library now loads much quicker and is half the size. The quality of the animations is the same.

For short, fast chat responses change Quick Speech to Very Quick Speech in the Web UI.

There is now a separate Narrator voice which can be set to read the description (non-dialog) parts of chat. For example the Chat AI sometimes generates dialog, but then also adds a description in parenthesis or asterisks. For example you might see "That's a great idea Jack! (Jenny smiles happily)". Now, if you have a Narrator voice set, then the Female would say "That's a great idea Jack", but then a separate voice, that isn't spoken by the female in game, would say "Jenny smiles happily".

Improved AI Chat responses to detected in-game actions (if you touch her, press a vamX button to remove clothes, etc.). Before if she did an action (Emily puts on her shirt) sometimes the AI responded as if Jack told her to put on her shirt, etc. Overall, the AI Chat responses will now be more accurate / make more sense in response to in-game actions.

Switched GPT-4 to GPT-4o. This improves the text responses when using SFW GPT-4o.

Fixed an issue where audio files were sometimes spoken out of order. To speed up speech, her response is sent in multiple parts (e.g. if Quick Speech is set, and she will say a couple of sentences). Sometimes audio from a shorter, later sentence, finished generating first and arrived and played first. Audio is now played in order.

Fixed an issue where pressing Retry Last or generally receiving responses with many audio files could cause disappearing text an errors with future responses. Hopefully this is fully fixed but it may need additional work in the future.

AI Chat detection of clothing removal / changes, especially when using the Clothes & Hair tab, or BUILD Female Clothes.

Improved AI Chat detection and responses to using dildos, vibrators and butt plugs on the AI.

The Chat AI can now respond to complex touches. If you touch her (for example in VR, or by loading a pose with the Male active) some touch information will be sent to the Chat AI, and this will become part of the story.

For example, if you touch her arm (and the story has Jack and Emily) you might see in the story "(Jack touches Emily's arm)" and then she might say (in response to your touch) "Oh, that's sweet Jack, hold me tighter".

If you switch to missionary pose (or ANY other man on top pose), you would see "(Jack fuck's Emily's pussy)". These are not pose specific notifications, changing poses simply triggers sending whatever main touch is happening in the new pose to the Chat AI.

There are also notifications sent when using vamX Toys (Other -> Sex Toys) and some Bondage items, like blindfolds, nipple clamps, or chains (Other -> Bondage, Domination and Role Play).

To disable touch notifications for the Chat AI, uncheck the Chat AI -> Send Touch/Events toggle.

Added Lock Scene toggle, and Lock Pose toggle to the vamX AI Chat menu.

You can now stay in the same Scene (environment) while in AI Chat by checking the Lock Scene toggle. This box ignores all AI Chat (and regular voice commands) that would lead to a Scene change. This checkbox is in the Chat AI section in the vamX menu (Scene tab -> Chat AI).

You can now make sure she stays in the current Pose while in AI Chat by checking the Lock Pose toggle. This box ignores all AI Chat (and regular voice commands) that would lead to a Pose or Animation change. This checkbox is in the Chat AI section in the vamX menu (Scene tab -> Chat AI). Minor pose changes from Action -> Start Sex, which allows changing to similar poses, can still happen when this box is checked.
