VaM Produce 69 Classic

A lot of you have been asking if thereโ€™s a way to keep using the past few seasons of Produce 69 while we work on completing the full migration to Produce 69 IIโ€”or if you simply want to keep them as a collectible.Iโ€™ve repackaged the original into VaM Produce 69 Classic. Just download it, drop it into your VaM Addon folder, and youโ€™ll be able to run both the past few seasons and II side by side. For safety, make sure to double-check dependencies so everything runs smoothly. Thanks again for your continued supportโ€”enjoy the nostalgia while we move forward with II!

๐Ÿ†•๐ŸŽถ RC4a Update โ€“ "The Bridge to RC5" ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ†•

RC4a is a focused bridge release on the road to RC5 โ€” not a full content drop, but an important step that opens up the entire library, slims the scene down even further, and cleans up RC4. Here's what's new on top of RC4:

โœจ What's new in RC4a

Raw 00.jpgRaw 01.jpgRaw 02.jpgRaw 03.jpgRaw 04.jpgRaw 05.jpg
  • ๐Ÿ”“ Brand-new Raw List โ€” unlock the entire library. All 630 tracks currently in the project are now accessible in one place. Just flip on Options โ–ธ General โ–ธ "Preview Unreleased Tracks" in-game, and the full catalog โ€” including songs still in the pipeline โ€” opens up for you to browse and play. What this means for you:
๐ŸŽฌ No more waiting for the official season drop. Tracks that haven't been folded into a regular Season yet are yours to enjoy and DIY right now โ€” play them, stage them, and build your own setlists ahead of release.
โญ Favorite them like any other track. Add Raw List songs straight into your collection โ€” either in-game, or through the online list editor at r18sv.github.io/produce69/profile-editor โ€” so they're ready to go the moment you launch.
  • ๐Ÿ‘— Clothing & hair presets are now fully metadata-driven. Every outfit and hairstyle has been moved out of the scene and into the data layer, completing the metadata migration that started with the track library. The scene file is now dramatically lighter โ€” shrinking from the original 300,000+ lines down to roughly 150,000, for faster loads and a leaner footprint on every machine.
  • ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ RC4 bug fixes. A round of known issues reported since RC4 has been squashed.
  • ๐Ÿ’… UX, UI & notification polish. Further refinements across the interface, in-scene notifications, and overall day-to-day feel.

๐Ÿ”ฎ Why RC4a โ€” and what's coming in RC5

RC4a isn't just a tune-up โ€” it's groundwork. Opening the full library and finishing the move to a fully metadata-driven scene are the foundation for the headline feature of RC5: a brand-new standalone tool, VaM Produce 69 Creator.

The Creator app will let you create freely with VaM Produce 69 II โ€” without ever opening VaM, and without needing to know how VaM works. Bring your own imagination, and build with the library, stages, and presets of Produce 69 II directly from a dedicated app. RC4a is the version that gets everything ready under the hood so that experience can land in RC5. ๐Ÿ› ๏ธโœจ

Everything below from RC4 still applies โ€” RC4a builds directly on top of it. ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ”ฅ

๐Ÿš€๐ŸŽถ VaM Produce 69 II โ€“ RC4 "Rebuilt from the Framework Up" Now Live! ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿš€

RC4 is officially out โ€” and this one isn't a content patch. It's an engine-level rebuild.

Where RC3b filled the season with content, RC4 rebuilds the stage it stands on: a leaner library, smarter playlists, a portable collection system, and the 1st Gen classics brought back the right way. This is the version where II stops being a sequel-in-progress and starts being its own thing.

โœจ What to expect from RC4

  • A framework-based rebuild of the track library and localization โ€” leaner, faster, lighter on every machine
  • Brand-new Dynamic Playlists โ€” view your library by Recently Played, Most Played, Artist, Stage, or any Tag combo, freely stacked
  • A fully upgraded Personal Collection โ€” unlimited entries, multiple custom mini-albums, one-click import / export, plus a new browser-based editor & converter
  • A massive wave of new tracks, alongside the 1st Gen classics fully remastered โ€” re-staged, not just re-imported

โš ๏ธ Important notes

  • Coming from RC3 or any earlier version (including RC1 / RC2)? Your favorites file converts in one drag-and-drop. Drop your old save into the online tool at r18sv.github.io/produce69 and get an RC4-ready .p69save back instantly โ€” no manual rebuilding, no lost favorites
  • Please make sure all dependencies are fully updated before launching RC4
  • As always, feedback and bug reports are highly appreciated and help shape the road to release

This release is meant to give II a foundation that can keep growing โ€” lighter to load, faster to navigate, and easier to make your own. Enjoy RC4, and have fun on stage. ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ”ฅ

๐Ÿ“โœจ RC4 Changelog Highlights โœจ๐Ÿ“

๐Ÿงฉ Framework-Based Track Library & Localization Engine

  • The track library is now fully metadata-driven โ€” every song, variant, tag, and stage flows through a single unified data layer instead of being hardcoded across the project
  • The localization engine has been rebuilt from scratch: KR / CN / JP / EN switch live in-scene, with room to add more languages as data alone
  • Net result for players: a lean, fast, focused experience โ€” less memory, quicker loads, and a far cleaner foundation for everything that comes next

๐ŸŽฏ Dynamic Playlists โ€“ Find Anything in Seconds

RC4_TAG1.jpgRC4_TAG2.jpg

  • A brand-new dynamic playlist layer โ€” the library now generates live views on demand, no manual sorting required
  • Built-in smart views:
๐Ÿ•’ Recently Played โ€” your last sessions, surfaced automatically
๐Ÿ”ฅ Most Played โ€” your real top tracks, not your guesses
  • TAG-based filtering, freely combinable:
๐ŸŽค By Artist โ€” every song from a specific performer
๐ŸŽญ By Stage โ€” every track tied to a particular venue
๐Ÿท๏ธ By Tag โ€” mood, style, era, content rating, any tag the track carries
  • Filters can be stacked (e.g. "Artist X on Stage Y"), and the resulting view is itself instantly playable โ€” no need to commit to a list first

๐Ÿ“š Personal Collection 2.0 + Online Companion Tools

RC4_Fav.jpg

In-game upgrades:
  • No more list-size limit โ€” collect as many tracks as you want
  • Build your own mini-albums โ€” curate as many named sets as you want by mood, theme, or occasion (chill night, workout, party, slow set โ€” whatever fits)
  • Hot-swap your entire collection on the fly โ€” keep multiple .p69save files for different vibes and just drag the one you want in; the library reshapes itself instantly
  • One-click import / export via the new .p69save format
  • Favorites and play history auto-migrate when you upgrade from RC3b

RC4_Online Editor.jpg

New online companion (browser-based, no install):
  • Drag-and-drop converter โ€” turn any save from RC3 or earlier (RC1, RC2, RC3, RC3b all supported) into an RC4 .p69save in seconds
  • Online list editor โ€” browse the full tracklist, build or reorder your mini-albums in the browser, export back into the game
  • Lives at r18sv.github.io/produce69

๐ŸŽผ New Tracks + 1st Gen Classics, Fully Remastered

  • A large wave of brand-new tracks debuting in RC4
  • The 1st Gen classics are back โ€” and they've been remade, not ported
  • Every returning song has been re-staged, re-recorded, re-shot under the new camera system, and re-lit to match the II visual language
  • For returning players: the songs you remember, performed by II
  • For new players: a single, unified library that no longer feels split between generations

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Quality of Life & Fixes

  • Playlist UI polish โ€” refined NEW-track highlighting, single-variant confirm step, smoother tag interactions
  • Camera pipeline unified across both new and remastered tracks for consistent motion and clean transitions
  • Sensitivity filter updated to cover all RC4 content out of the box
  • Misc. fixes and consistency improvements carried over from RC3b feedback

As always, please ensure all dependencies are up to date before launching RC4.
Feedback and reports are welcome and greatly appreciated. ๐Ÿ’ฌ๐Ÿ’™

Have fun on stage. ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ”ฅ
