Okay I had to put this up. Not sure why some of this info wasn't up already. So you know sometimes when you download a var you get dependency txt. And sometimes some items arent listed even with the txt. Well there is a way to see what is missing exactly. Its going to take some work on your part but it works. So first thing is first. When vam starts the game will look up all vars dependencies and such. Go to the error log and clear it. Most times it will be filled with too many errors from what is missing. Most people have a ton of errors already in it from downloading works and forgetting to see what is missing. Then load up your scene or var that you want to use. The error log cleared means that only the loaded scene will be listed in the missing dependencies. Next this blew my mind. Having to manually type it out to google was a pain to look for the dependencies. Sometimes those dependencies are in korean of japanese. The highlight right click doesnt work in vam. But the highlight and control+c works. A miracle to say the least. Then either paste it to a txt file to see the line of the author and the name of the missing dependency. Or type it on google and see if anything pops up. Some works that are in other languages need to be translated to see what the names of the missing dependencies are. In that instance just google translate it and it will make your search easier. Well that sums it up. Just wanted to add something to the community. Im not sure if you guys knew that but just in case it helps someone.
