The Golden Ticket (British Babe): Professionally Voiced with 150+ audio files!

Scenes The Golden Ticket (British Babe): Professionally Voiced with 150+ audio files! 0.9

Incredibly complicated setup. Conflicting instructions, misleading descriptions, excessive file sizes. Downloaded 5 GB, and still wouldn't work properly.
When the scene starts, the camera is under the couch, across the room from the mini room where the reams of instruction are.
The instructions are filled with references to paid content. I've never seen another scene where the author advertised their paid assets in the controls of a "free" scene.
The giant wall of 30 ads tells you that you have to pick one of the paid selections, or "things usually don't work." Or, after waiting for the scene to load, you can quit, go rename some files, and wait for the scene to load again. This didn't work either. It loaded the generic VAM person instead of the preset I put there.
The images in this overview look nothing like the actual scene. The text buttons are replaced with a wall covered with a rainbow of goofy looking bright multicolored icons.
The descriptions on half the buttons are some kind of passive-agressive response to some kind of rule change that the author is apparently pissed at.
Every time I hit the "Load" button, the scene started back on the couch on the other side of the room, but I stayed in that kaleidoscope room of Fisher Price Buttons. 800 buttons in there, and there's no "Go to where I am supposed to be" button. No "pause the scene while I go over to the other side of the room" button. There's a "stop intro" button, but that just made the girl warp back into the mini room by her self, and start giving a handjob to an empty bed, while the headless guy stayed on the couch.
The file size is massively bloated by nearly 2 GB of "ambiance" sound effects. Seriously, 2 GB of background noise. He doesn't want to host the scene on the hub, because he wants to include a half gig file called "whalesoundstodoeditdown.m4a"
Because they want to make their space characters at home, you also must download hundreds of megs of "space beatz" ambiance files. Because a scene described as "Nestled high in the mountains..." absolutely needs whale sounds and spaceship sound effects.
The description of the "free" scene says "no look is provided, so go find these paid looks and buy them!" Can you not stop advertising for one second? Either make the scene free or don't.
And before anyone else downloads the 2 GB "Second mandatory package" of dependencies, unless you want to waste hours downloading another two gig of useless files, go through your packages first. It will take some time to compare them all, but I already had almost all of them.
I've never written a review for a scene before, but I've never been made to put in so much time and effort for a scene that just refused to work.
I really like seeing people put a lot of effort into scenes. I love scenes with lots of controls and options, I don't like being ambushed by pages of instructions inside a scene even after I've already followed several links around multiple sites and blown a significant portion of my monthly data cap on whale sounds.

Yeah, genius. I don't make any looks whatsoever. I must really be hawking all zero of my paid looks.

"This didn't work either. It loaded the generic VAM person instead of the preset I put there."

You clearly put it in the wrong directory lol.

"No "pause the scene while I go over to the other side of the room" button."

Oh man, if only there was a one-click button built directly into Virtamate that allows for the Freezing of Motion and Sound. Gee, I wonder what could it be?

"Nestled high in the mountains..." absolutely needs whale sounds and spaceship sound effects."
"useless files"

The scene clearly advertises multiverse functionality across dozens of environments, GT is just the starter. there are other environments that use those sound effects, mind-blowing, I know. Maybe that's the whole point of the 'multiverse' that is advertised as part of the scene.

"The text buttons are replaced with a wall covered with a rainbow of goofy looking bright multicolored icons."

Yeah, the old UI had fewer buttons, this has more color-coded ones. They can all be dismissed with one click. oh man it's color coded for simplicity and therefore is bad.

Never had so many entitled people whining about having more options, not fewer.

I have nothing bad against the author of the content, I just couldn't download it, no matter how hard I tried, I sat in the mega application for 2 hours and couldn't download it, although I have indicated that I can download 20 GB, but it still gives out that I have to pay for downloading a large file, I don't know why, I wish the author success and advancement in his hard work

I recommend the mega client (https://mega.io/desktop) for people having this problem. It auto resumes after you exceed your bandwidth limit on the free tier. My scenes are massive but I'm looking to cut that size down with future optimizations.
