A subscription for a plugin is not the "build-a-community" move you might think it is. As a new (here) contributor, you don't have the established trust/rep of other major contributors - and even THEY would struggle to be able to pull off a subscription-based plugin, no matter how cool it may be. You might be lucky enough to get a couple subscribers, but you'll be poisoning yourself to all others.

You want to build a community? Release it for free (and not via some gimped Lite version).

Absolutely not on the monthly subscription for a single plugin. Easy way to ensure I never buy the full version at all if I'm not "buying" it.

I'm impressed by the lite version. The skin looks noticeably more realistic. Thank you for making it free. May I suggest making the premium version a one time purchase? I would not mind paying again for each new version that comes out, but paying monthly for one version is too much.

diorbear To be honest, I’m just exploring different support models out of curiosity; the profit isn't my main focus. My goal is to grow the community—once we hit a certain number of supporters, I plan to lower the subscription price or even release it for free down the line. By the way ,the full ver. is much more better :),When I use my Full version plugin in VR with realistic skins (like C&G), I honestly feel like reality is right there in front of my eyes. The immersion is incredible.
