• Happy Holidays Guest!

We want to announce that we will be working at reduced staffing for the holidays. Specifically Monday the 23rd until Jan 2nd.

This will affect approval queue times and responses to support tickets. Please adjust your plans accordingly and enjoy yourselves this holiday season!

  • Hi Guest!

Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.

Details about the security patch can be found here.
When i was young and went to my 1st art museum, i saw a painting of a black haired woman with black shadowing spot lighting her bright dark red lips and you have captured that memory for me. all the feelings and images all wrapped up nicely in this video called Panic Room so thank you for that and this awesome body of work

Wow, thank you! This is probably one of the greatest compliments I've been paid on any of my work, and I appreciate that. I'm honored to be able to illicit a response like that, and you're making me consider updating this scene with even redder lips!

I seen the music video to Panic Room and this scene is far better than the music video. ♥♥♥

A LOT of people running down hallways and silently arguing. I think I agree with you, but I may be biased. ;)

Unbelievable.
Had to login and find your profile to comment how awesome that was.

This kind of content is the perfect blend of POV PMV.

Thank you so much for this comment. This was my first published scene, and while not as technically advanced as ones I've made since then, that simplicity is hard to recapture.

I can't believe that I never left a review for this one before. This scene was a huge inspiration when I started creating scenes of my own. This scene sets a high bar for creators, but it has earned its place in the top downloads ranking and is one of the best scenes of all time. Truly phenomenal work, Vamurai. Thank you for sharing this!

Thank you for your review! I've been on hiatus for a bit and have only recently returned. I'm always appreciative when I hear other great creators enjoying my stuff! I have seen your work, and to think this scene helped inspire some of that is an honor to hear.

I like surprises! Thank you for the review. :)

This scene is exceptional.
Was thinking of dissing it when it failed miserably with my own morph, but these animations are tuned for very specific proportions.
With the default model, it's really excellent work.

Yeah, being my first published scene, there were a LOT of things I didn't know or consider accounting for. One of those was the customization others might do, like custom looks or morphs. This scene, more than any other, has some pretty wild angles and very tight tolerances on the action. Any custom looks would need to be nearly identical to the base model.

I've certainly gotten better about testing a few looks before publishing now. I can't test everything, obviously, but I do what I can! I'm glad you enjoyed it though! Sorry it didn't work with your custom morphs.

This and all your other scenes are brilliant, I use an OSR2 and it's difficult to pick which of yours is my favourite!

I'm always glad to hear that these scenes work well with some of the physical gear out there. It's rarely on the forefront of my mind when animating. "Is this angle too extreme?" "Have I moved her too far forward or back for this to work with an SR6 or similar?" It's something I forget to consider, so I'm glad that I haven't, uh, hurt anyone yet, haha.

Glad you enjoy the scenes! Someday when I get my Halloween scene completed, I'll be curious to see if it's "safe" to use.

Out of all the scenes I've seen so far, this should be considered the gold standard. I can't comprehend how this is your first publication.

Beautiful lighting, great music selection, and the animation is hypnotic. Combine this with an SR6 and T-code plug-in.. prepare to have your mind blown.

I'd give this 6-stars if I could.

I second the idea of looping this somehow. Perhaps you will consider a revisit in the future.

Thank you for the kind words! I had been animating for a while when I released this scene, and technically "Patricia DFC" was to be my first public release, but there were major license problems with a couple of the assets I'd used, so I wasn't comfortable releasing until I'd made some modification. Since I was still fairly new to it all, those modifications took me some serious time and effort. I learned A LOT along the way.

I guess if the motion to loop it has been seconded, what choice do I have? :) I feel like there's a decent amount in this scene that can be improved, now that I have another eight months of animation experience under my belt!

Good and simple!
You see a mystery girl riding you with her head leaning back.
Her face hidden in darkness.
You are not able to identify her.
She starts riding you.
You hear her heavy exhausted breathing.
Her chest moves from inhaling and exhaling.
She starts slow and builds up in sync with the dark music.
Suddenly the screen slowly fades to black and ...
download it to see for yourself :D

+Embody POV
+compatible with other looks
+short dependency list
+animation, audio and light are excellent
+dark artistic vibe

@vamurai
Maybe add a '[x] loop' checkbox to automatically restart the scene after a short break?
vamurai
vamurai
Man, I need to have you start writing the descriptions for my scenes!

I like the loop idea. That might be a fun thing to try with some scenes, especially if I can make a seamless way to do it, by adding some animation in between the finish and start. Maybe use logicbricks to decide if it gets triggered.

Great feedback, I appreciate it!

Excellent scene, vamurai. Works as advertised, top-notch animation, custom look friendly, and is great in VR. Need more scenes like this!

I absolutely did. I intend to do similar updates for my other scenes, and all future scenes will use Right CTRL as well (unless someone comes and tells me that this key isn't available, of course!)

Best of the best. As is most of your stuff frankly. The use of lighting to not only make the scene really neat looking, but also to facility the spoilery reveal is great. If you are reading reviews before you watch this, watch it once with the default model. Then do whatever you want.

I have an issue with the VR pov. There is something blocking almost all the view for me on the default settings. This is only in VR. I am using a quest 1 over link cable. If I wipe out passenger and improved pov and replace them with the latest embody the problem goes away. I think there is something in the head not getting hidden correctly in the old passenger. It does work fine in desktop for me.

GREAT job on this. super well done, really well synched to the audio and I love simple scenes like this that use minimalism to create the immersion and not trying to blow up my computer with effects and redundant lights and assets in the scene.

The next couple of scenes I have planned should keep the video card in your rig from melting, as I'm going to do a couple "simpler" scenes like this.

That said, I'm perfectly willing to update this scene with embody. Thank you for letting me know about the VR. Someday, I intend to get my own gear for that, and I'll be able to properly test before releasing, but for now, I rely on comments like yours to let me know what I've broken something!
