Leg prosthetics

Clothing Leg prosthetics 2022-05-27

I made some wearable leg prosthetics and a new high-res geoshell.
You will find the prosthetics in your clothing section.
For it to look as intended, you will need a special morph for the right leg.
I use a script to hide the whole body and then apply a geoshell with a alpha cutout for the right leg.

The geoshell comes without textures (but i included the regular spec / gloss / normal textures) so you can use your favourite textures on this.
Just open the Geoshell clothing item, and select your own textures for the different bodyparts.

You get a sports version with a running blade:

And you get a regular leg prosthesis with a plastic foot so you can wear shoes with it:

How to apply your own Textures to the geoshell?
Maybe i should clarify Why there is a geoshell involved at all:
You can't use Alpha Maps on the regular vam models, which means you can't make custom parts of the model transparent.
But you can use alpha maps on clothing items. So what i do is hide the whole model, and put the skin back on as a clothing item where i can use alpha maps / transparency. This is called geoshell.

In this example, i downloaded Gabriella uand selected her skin textures for the Geoshell (Repeat the Steps for all skin parts):
