This is an extension of SupaRioAmateur's layered makeup masks. SRA provided lipstick, lip outline, a couple of eye shadows and some beauty moles. It can be found at:

This package adds a foundation layer, a blush layer, two eyeshadow layers, two eyeliner layers and a number of face masks. You can see examples in the images below. NOTE - you can find these fairly easily because I have marked them all with the "Mask" tag - not a lot of masks out there.

The foundation layer is intended to even out uneven complexions. Some people like it; others don't. This layer provides some contouring as well; changing the shading of the face to emphasize features. Once again, some people like it; others don't. You can change the alpha value to reduce it's impact if you feel the default is too artificial.

The advantage of makeup-as-clothing over makeup decals is:

(1) it works with any Genesis 2 skin regardless of UV mapping (Victoria 6, Gen2 Base, Olympia, Gia, Stephanie 6, etc). The Victoria 5 and Monique 6 UV's are significantly different from the Gen2 base. Decals will work with only those UV maps that they are intended for.

(2) you can change the colors and transparency on makeup-as-clothing. No need for 15 lipstick colors. If the lipstick covers the lip texture too much, change the alpha value to reduce it's effect.

(3) you can do the layering without having to have an add-decals-to-layers tool

There are some minor disadvantages as well - the many alpha transparencies can cause some minor visual glitches (due to the limitations of the Unity graphics engine). You might have to change the Render Queue value in the Shader tab of the Material interface to get them to overlap correctly.

But this approach gives you much more flexibility.
