Thanks for this model port.
Was thinking about requesting this iconic 80s car named K.I.T.T. (Knight Industries Two Thousand) from the TV series "Knight Rider".

The car mesh / geometry is very good.
It's just difficult to light without overexposing nearby other things with the shader / material it has. It seems to use shader named 'Standard 2-Sided' and 1 texture. Somehow it *swallows* light like there is no tomorrow even though it's texture is more greyish then complete dark pitch black.

I can use the 'CUAshaderMod' Plugin on it with an 'Unlit/Texture' shader to make it look like on sketchfab. Then ofc. is not affected by light at all.
This screams for a custom shader.

Would love a modified animated version of this with rotating wheels, backlights on, headlights up & on, red front center scanner light animated.

Thanks Sally Whitemane, you're welcome

Yes that's right, there is a 2-Sided Shader on it and it has only 1 texture.
I don't know why this object is so difficult to illuminate,
i had the same problem, it really is like it swallows the light...
I had to place an extra directional light for my Photoshoots ;)

Metallic and Smoothness are pretti in the upper realm,
so i can't make it more reflective.

I for myself don't like it as it is on sketchfab...
For me it is to grey there, so i made it a bit more black.
More like the original ;)

The whole model also came along in one peace.
So it would mean tremendous work and very good
knowledge in 3D modeling programs
to implement all the additional options you suggested.

So I hope you can be satisfied with this verion ;)
