Hello everyone.
Overview
Original design Japanese style inn.
maru01 makes wonderful yukatas and kimonos. So I wanted a more Japanese-style environment. (This is the origin of the name. )
Inspired by bossKange's stunning Chinese architectural assets, I also found a tatami texture that was just right, so I decided to try making one.
Concept
Created an environment to make use of Japanese clothing such as maru01's yukata and kimono.
Two Japanese-style rooms, one 12 tatami mats and one 8 tatami mats in size.
In order to reproduce the unique light of the shoji screen as closely as possible, it is divided into day and night.
Although it's not realistic, we set up an open-air bath in the Japanese garden.
Props such as lighting fixtures and futons are separate, ensuring versatility of the room.
In order to reduce the file size, I created it so that textures can be used efficiently.
Day version : onsen_ryokan_day.assetbundle
Night: version: onsen_ryokan_night.assetbundle

Introduction of each part, remarks
I will introduce them through skits set up as stories. (Looks and poses are not included in the scene data.)
There are a lot of them, so if you're in a hurry, please check them out later if you need to.
The front door does not have a collider set, so just go through.
As I'm sure you all know, in traditional Japanese inns, you take off your shoes before entering the room.
The Japanese lanterns hanging from the ceiling and the Andon lights on the sides of the room are individual CUAs and are set to emissive.
For lighting, VAM real-time lights are set in the scene data.
It is possible to turn lights on and off all at once using the canvas button in the scene data and the light trigger plugin.
As you walk down the corridor, you will be greeted by a Japanese-style garden.
This screenshot uses SKYBOX by Romolas, but is optional to reduce the number of reference files.
The lantern incorporates a fake bulb from Pluginidea to create a soft light.
The open-air bath can be seen in the background.
I'm not an expert, so I had a hard time designing the garden, but I decided to incorporate dry landscape gardens and cherry blossoms.
The room at the back is a 12 tatami mat living room.
In addition to the lighting fixtures, the tables and chairs are also separate.
"Ah, I feel like I need to go to the toilet."
Marika: "In the meantime, I'll change into a yukata."
"Toilet, toilet..."
The toilet is next to the entrance.
”Wow! An old-fashioned Japanese-style toilet.”
This time, in order to create the atmosphere of an old inn, we created an old-fashioned Japanese-style toilet.
I forgot to mention this, but this time I'm assuming that I'll be using directional lights, so I haven't used any transparent walls, including the toilet.
Therefore, I think this small space is not very usable for the scene.
”Ah, it felt refreshing. Huh?”
”Wow!”
When you think of shoji, this is it! It's a standard production.
In order to achieve this, I divided the scene into day and night and looked into various shaders.
Projecting animations will stimulate your imagination and create a more erotic atmosphere.
Give it a try.
Marika: "You were late, weren't you? Are you having trouble with your stomach?"
(I can't say that I was peeking at her changing clothes through the shoji screen. Haha.)
Marika: "I'm tired today so I'm going to bed now..."
Marika: "Good night!"
(Shit! That's terrible after getting me so excited!!)
Futons are separate CUA and there are 3 types.
The collider is not set for the futon hanging above.
Women with large breasts tend to overflow from the futon. It was difficult to contain my girlfriend's breasts.
Marika: Phew, I slept well.
(I was so horny that I couldn't sleep...)
During the day, there is a difference in brightness between inside and outside, and it is left to the purpose of use, so only directional lighting is set up.
Marika: "I think I'll take a bath in the morning."
Marika: "Don't sneak a look, pervert!"
How is the hot water?
Marika: That's great.
The hot water is in a separate CUA, and you can replace it with other interactive water.
For the daytime version, in order to achieve both freedom in lighting and a good appearance, only shadows from ambient light are baked.
Marika: Ah, I felt refreshed.
Is it almost time to check out?
Thank you for watching until the end.

Assets - Day/Night Skyboxes
Hi everyone, here's a quick collection of skyboxes that I put together when creating a Day/Night cycle for my scene. Includes 12 skyboxes to represent different times of the day, all named accordingly for ease of use. You can see some of them in...
