An entertaining read, and very useful at that. It all makes perfect sense in retrospect why most poses are so static; they are set up wrong. Thank you for this!
I am so used to using the old trinity (head, chest, hips) and I've never experimented with neck-driven animation. Thanks for writing this up! I want to give it a try after reading your guide.
Well written and entertaining guide. I wish someone could create a plugin that would automatically apply all these settings to a Look. Also wondering why the arms were not listed in the settings.
Thanks for the review and glad the settings are working for you! In this pose, arms are just set to off, and elbow position mostly controls what the arms will do, and the role of the hands is a bit deemphasized. If you want quick settings, check my other related resource for 3 poses you can load. Hope that helps.
Really a must read guide that could change your experience with VAM if you've been using it for awhile or could get you ahead of the curve if you're just starting out. Great stuff!
If I had known these techniques earlier, I wouldn't have suffered so much. I genuinely appreciate your guidance. I hope there will be more practical tutorials in the future. Thank you again.
You're welcome, and that honestly brings me so much joy. I suffered too. Once I tested this and saw how many problems it solved, I couldn't not make the guide. I would like to make more contributions and content in the future.
