Quickly add mirrors in front of your model (or anything!)

AutoMirrorExampleScene.jpg

This is mostly for creators, once I learn more C# I plan to make a plugin!

Thanks to:

Ren, MeshedVr, NoStage3, and WrongTamago .

Everyone who's helped me out in the discord!

Workflow made easy by AcidBubbles (Keybindings) and JayJayWon (UIAssist).

Instructions:

Make sure you have mirrored surfaces enabled.

1. Spawn a subscene at the base of the model you would like to add a mirror (or mirrors). (the Select Align To From Scene in Atom Move tab is an easy way to do this)

2. Choose one of the Mirror subscenes.

3. You should have mirrors! Easy!

Notes: The mirrors will spawn in the direction of the Z axis. If you want the mirrors set up like they are in the example scene:
the X and Z rotation is set to 0.
The Y rotation will change depending on the direction the model is facing. (If the root of the model is where it normally is, then the Y rotations should be roughly the same.)

Also, This is my first upload so if I didn't do something right let me know!

Caution: Mirrors can eat up FPS. You'll have to adjust your settings accordingly. I haven't tried it in VR yet, but I assume the 3Mirrors subscene will slow things down dramatically.

If you have any questions let me know.
