    We have posted a new VaM2 dev log on Patreon, starting a monthly cadence of written progress updates between Beta releases. Highlights include the new Gizmos System, Selection Carousel, and Modes System with Context-Specific Editing. Beta1.2 is 15 of 21 items complete.

- When loading or reloading an appearance the skin/character should now change to match rather than just using "Female Custom" or "Male Custom"
- Fixed a potential memory leak
- Morphs should now load simultaneously rather than incrementally
- Fixed morphs sometimes not being set to correct values when a loading scene that uses the plugin
- Transform progress should now remain the same when reloading an appearance rather than going to 100%
- Fixed reload path being forgotten if you clicked load appearance and then cancelled
- When removing plugin you can now keep the clothing/hair/morphs/scale if you uncheck those items beforehand
- (Demo Scene) Added cooldown to transformations to help avoid getting mixed up transformations
- Added ability to invoke "Reload Appearance" with trigger action
- More fixes to help prevent textures from not loading properly in most cases
- Fixed normal textures/bump maps sometimes being treated as diffuse/decal textures
- When loading a scene the associated DecalMaker plugin(s) should load textures correctly now
- Fixed specular, gloss, and normal textures not being modified by Transform Progress
- Added option to optimize performance by disabling clothing and hair simulation when transform progress is 0

- Updated demo scene to have faster transformations
- Fixed (most) errors loading custom textures on clothing when using an appearance preset from a var package
- Added "Reload Appearance" button to quickly reload an appearance if needed
- Morphs will no longer be loaded if "Allow Morph Transform" is unchecked
- Substitution for built-in irises now uses a diffuse texture instead of a plain solid color
- Made some tweaks to demo scene to slightly improve performance
- Fixed clothing sim on/off setting only loading with default value
- Fixed custom textures not being loaded on clothing items
- Loading appearances should be slightly faster now
- Loading a scene that uses plugin should now perform slightly better
- Unchecking "Allow Hair Transform" or "Allow Clothing Transform" will now prevent hair and clothing from being loaded from preset
- Made the default sclera substitute color more white
- Fixed not loading specular and gloss textures for irises and sclera
- Fixed iris/sclera diffuse texture being loaded with substitute color values
- Fixed scale changing on removal of plugin (will only change if "Allow Scale Transform" was checked)
