This resource includes the Hilux Revo Prerunner pickup truck from 2021. A simple demo scene is included for a quick look at the vehicle.
The original model creator made this vehicle for markets in Japan, where they drive on the left side of the road, so the steering wheel is on the opposite side of what many people are accustomed to.
The source model is exceptionally well-crafted with high resolution textures (see credits). I used every trick that I know with material rendering to make this truck look nice in VAM, even without post processing. This includes techniques to give the metals a natural shine. I hope that you like the results.
The most recent update makes the doors, gate and steering wheel as independent objects. The version of the vehicle that removes the independent objects is labelled with "core" in the assetname. This resource also includes a subscene with the objects preassigned to the core of the vehicle. In the subscene, the rotation of the objects will be locked, except for the angle of rotation intended for that object. The tailgate required an additional pivot point to open properly, see subscene. To turn the entire vehicle in this configuration, the best method would be to rotate the subscene itself.
