First off, I'm a pube guy... yeah, I know, what a shocker!
That classic hairy triangle has had my attention since that one kid in elementary school with the older brother pulled a wadded up page from a Playboy mag out of his pocket, as we huddled around behind some trees in the back, trying to get a glimpse. No judgement for those who want all completely hairless, it's just not my thing. A good set of pubes create a certain sort of mystery about what untold treasures might lie hidden beneath.
So, as I've been preparing to release my first look and showcase to the hub, I found myself looking for specific pubic hair style. Sadly, I just couldn't find what I was looking for on the hub. So I proceeded to spend an inordinate amount of time learning both how to use the hair editor, and what settings seem to work best specifically for pubes.
So here's a small set of the best pubes I managed to generate while trying to get the exact look I was going for. You're welcome to readjust and alter them in any way to make the ultimate pubes of your dreams!

If there is desire for more variety, please let me know. These four are just what I generated while trying for one specific look. I can't say how soon I would be able to get to more styles, but I would at least be able to put it in my mental backlog and let it stew.

UPDATE:
Added presets for each pube style with collision and physics sim enabled. Each preset required slightly different settings to get the behavior to feel right. I tried to get it as close as I could to how pubes are both really light and delicate yet still 'snap back' to their original position. Also, by lowering the weight of the hair, there is practically zero deformation of the form when sim is enabled:
