• Happy Holidays Guest!

We want to announce that we will be working at reduced staffing for the holidays. Specifically Monday the 23rd until Jan 2nd.

This will affect approval queue times and responses to support tickets. Please adjust your plans accordingly and enjoy yourselves this holiday season!

  • Hi Guest!

Please be aware that we have released a critical security patch for VaM. We strongly recommend updating to version 1.22.0.7 using the VaM_Updater found in your installation folder.

Details about the security patch can be found here.
Light Toggler

Plugins Light Toggler

What is it?

A simple plugin that lets you turn all Unity lights and emissive textures on and off in any Custom Unity Asset. Useful for day and night versions of a single Unity asset, or for example if you have downloaded an asset with a Unity light in it that you don't want you can turn it off with this.

How do I use it?

Add the Light Toggler plugin to a Custom Unity Asset atom and use the menu to turn any lights and emissive textures in the asset on and off. Easy!

About Light Toggler

Myself and @VamTastic both had the same problem with needing to turn emissive textures on and off from within VAM. Looking for a solution VamTastic found this plugin that had been made a long time ago by a user named Huha. It turned out to be really handy and just what we needed, so we ironed out some issues and VamTastic said that I should be the one to release it so here it is.

Credits

Most of the credit goes to Huha for creating the original plugin, VamTastic tried to contact the author to ask about releasing it but was unable to find them. The plugin was modified by VamTastic and the loading bugs were fixed by myself.

Going to give this a try on a few room CUA's that I like but the built in lighting is not always what I would want. Thanks for sharing.
