If you connect it to a SubScene, or other Atom that the Person is a child of, you can use it to create physical states that effectively allow you to move the character and other Atoms/controllers around - either "snappily" or softly, depending on how you set the physics of the controller (using the native VaM UI).

I could never really list all of the possibilities it opens up for those mostly only familiar with the VaM UI itself, to do a lot of playing around. Therefore, along with the fact that I don't get many specific questions, there isn't much specific documentation out yet.
