VaM Stream 04 - VaM2

Guides VaM Stream 04 - VaM2

Honestly, when it comes to converting my fave Gen2 models into Gen8, etc. at this point...I'll probably end up just using Gen8 shapes/morphs to craft a brand new version of her. That way, I can avoid any of the weird minutia mistakes that probably came along with me fiddling with 100 different morphs in VAM1. I might try to bring the head morph over though...but either way, most "normal" human body shapes, excluding anything hyper extreme, anthro looking, alien looking, or just non basic should be very easy to mimic with Gen8 with the only difference that the human anatomy and proportionality will ALL be far more realistic.

For instance, take the lips of a model...I'm 100% sure I will be able to make the same specific lips on a Gen8 model by using my Gen2 fave model as source material/reference point. It's just a matter of learning HOW to edit and modify the Gen8 models' morphs. I'm forgetting but I remember something about the process being different in VAM2 right? I haven't knocked around with the Demo/Beta build I have but are there sliders built in?

I'm just excited to see MORE realism and HIGH QUALITY realistic shaders built in/capable and realistic hair...and SSS skin effects and all of that. Should be game changing. I have a feeling that VAM2 is where we will approach the "indistinguishable from reality" bar in that the texture resolutions, lighting effects, anatomically CORRECT bodies (including gens positioning, size, shape, etc) will be able to be modded sort of like in VAM1 to such an extent that, if you're really immersed, you might forget that what you're seeing isn't real.

Now add in the almost ASSURED release of new haptics devices in the near future as well as their cost going down as more are produced at commercial scale instead of just experimental and within VAM2's lifetime we will see haptic suits, gloves, vests, leggings, socks/shoes, etc. that will be able to mimic certain sensations of touch, pressure, or roughness or slickness of material, etc. Imagine getting a back massage in VR by an AI powered 3D model that you designed? Yeah cringe, I know, but the idea is actually fascinating. Like god dang, the dating market is tiring, it would be nice to be able to just get home from work and even in totally non sexual ways just get a virtual back massage with our, I'm sure of it, EVEN SMALLER VR headsets in the very near future.

We'll have VAM2, haptic wear to simulate real feeling so you can "Feel" hands on your back giving you a deep tissue massage lol, and instead of VR headsets, VR goggles with reduced weight and small framed dimensions the size of some sort of enlarged swim goggles or "Safety goggles". It's not even a fantasy, it's just a matter of a short few years...
