Hey LinusMinus, thanks a bunch for working on this! I have a Handy 2, and a Handy 1, and I'm not able to get this plugin to a state where it's actually usable so far. I've tried putting the device in Bluetooth only mode, and I've tried both the Handy 1 and Handy 2.
For the auto-detection, it seems that the only way to reduce the jumping jitters as the slider moves on the Handy is to drop Max Send Rate to minimum, crank Noise Filter, and increase the duration padding.. Which results in inaccurate and delayed movement. Which is actually fine to be honest, since the Timeline integration to me is by far the greatest value proposition of this plugin
Unfortunately, the timeline integration has the same issue, as well as one other. Loading up a few animation preset scenes like Temple Sex, and it seems that the Timeline loops either are picking up on a non-relevant Timeline, or are struggling to handle timeline loops that are around 2 seconds (between 70-95 samples). The movement, even with the settings above in place, is super jilting and off, and the autodetection actually is superior which shouldn't be the case based on how you describe the Timeline look-ahead.
For UI, the log box under the Timeline check indicates it seems to keep sampling the loop over and over even when I don't click the button to manually tell it to - Is that intentional? Also, there is no Smoothing option, if you've changed that to Noise Filter, might want to update the top description page.
On another scene, PXL BJ Controls, the plugin I think is looking just straight up at the wrong timeline plugin on the female atom, as no loops are picked up at all (And there are two plugins, one for expressions, one for the animation) -> so maybe a selector override for the timeline plugin to point at is needed. Maybe that was the issue with the Temple Sex scene too, it was picking up the wrong Timeline.
I don't really want to overclock my Handy 2 -> Would you be willing to drop your overclock and just see if anything materially changes with your performance? That would solve it for all of us whether an overclocked Handy 2 Pro is needed to make this plugin work well. I'll keep trying some different animation scenes out to see if I can narrow it down further. Thanks!
