I have a scene that I was modifying and I got everything like I wanted and was getting things back in place to save when suddenly everything went dark! The only thing I could see were the bright light bars along the bottom of the Cyberpunk Sofa and that was kind of blurry looking. I figured at first that my camera position had gotten in weird location and I tried resetting the player position and still dark. I played around with EVERYTHING and finally in scene lighting settings, by cranking up camera exposure to the max I got a negative effect and could see that the camera was where it was supposed to be. Then playing around with that setting I found that at about .5 setting the scene is illuminated but dim. If I go any higher, like to 1.0 the scene goes dark and the same at 0.0,of course. going higher than 5.0 brings in the negative effect, It seems like the camera exposure setting is completely messed up. I saved the scene as a new one, closed VAM. Then I reopened VAM and the scene, and all is still the same. Shut it all back down, restarted and loaded a different scene and it is fine.

Does anyone have clue as to what the hell I did or what went wrong? I would l love to not the lose the work from this afternoon, but more importantly I don't want this to happen again!

Perhaps you triggered the VamOverlays plugin without a timer to reset it back to normal. It basically paints over your scene with a solid color, usually black. Sometimes you can get stuck in the overlay if you trigger it in Edit mode. In play mode, assuming you have the timer and fade in setup, it behaves normally.

That was a good suggestion, but I don't have any overlay plugins loaded. I will review all the plugins though and see if I can find some other culprit.

Well.... Thank you! You did point me in the right direction. I found that "Screen Fade" plugin was active. I didn't think of going through the plugins until your suggestion. Now I need to go and find what trigger activated it without a timer to turn it off. Again, thank you.... hopefully all the hair I pulled out will grow back!
