VaM 1.x Is it possible to link limbs to objects without delay in movement?

This plugin helps easily set all control's spring and damper values as Geraldo said, but without the need to go one by one. https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/jointphysicshelper.39061/ Helps make the character more 'stiff'. You can increase max velocity as well, if your parent object moves fast.

VaM 1.x Help with CUA hair Collider

Make sure there's a .dll file in the same folder as the .assetbundle file with the same name. This .dll is responsible for the EZBones runtime dependency, that makes the CUA physics work in this case, and It seems like the .dll isn't loading for this particular asset. When you go to the other...

VaM 1.x Low FPS in Virt-a-Mate despite high-end PC – looking for optimization tips

Hello! First, download and install this community performance patch https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/cpu-performance-patch-up-to-30-faster-physics-up-to-60-more-fps.43427/ VAM's engine is a little old and not really optimized for multi threading. I suspect that is your bottleneck. The CPU...

VaM2 AI Empowers Game Animation Creation – Let's Discuss the Necessity of Open APIs!

Hello. I work full time as a developer and also study animation as a hobby, because i like it a lot, so i can understand your point and needs. However, i feel like you are heavily misguided by what "AI" can do. First, suppose you had all the APIs in places, what kind of AI would be able to do...

    VaM2 Regarding VaM2 Addon Creator:

The latest version is 0.1.1, should be right. What box is wrong when you fill? on that screen you showed? I'm not sure what are you doing exatcly, because you shouldn't need to fill the boxes on that screen manually. Unless it's somewhere else.

    VaM2 Regarding VaM2 Addon Creator:

The guide in https://hub.virtamate.com/threads/02-vam2-creating-blend-shapes-tutorial.66848/ explains the process. In this case you are creating a blendshape addon right? If yes, you need to click on the folder icon on the Addon Path to point to the addon you want to create a blendshape pack to...

    VaM2 Regarding VaM2 Addon Creator:

Hello! it is correct. The packed addon file will be generated in the <YourVam2Folder>/Addons/<creator>__<addonname>__1.0.v2a, and when you run VAM2 it will automatically extract the .v2a file (it's a zip file) to /Addons/<creator>/<addonname>/1.0/.

    VaM2 Invalid Addon Folder

Does Unity have permission to install on this drive? You get this error after building the addon, and when clicking on the 'Deploy' button right? The SDK will not create the "Slaanesh\Philomena\1.0" folder, a Slaanesh__Philomena__0.1.v2a file will be put under the Addons folder...

    VaM2 Invalid Addon Folder

the "Addons" folder will be "D:\VaM2_Beta1.1\Addons\" in your case, when you create your asset the addon will be compiled and put under <creator_name>\<addon_name>\1.0. In the SDK you need to specify the root folder for the addons.

VaM 1.x Clothes interacting with CustomUnityAssets

Hello! Clothes and hair only interact with GPU colliders. By default, CUAs use CPU colliders, which interacts with the body colliders. You can use this plugin (https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/cuagpucolliders.52356/) to convert CPU into GPU colliders. Note that GPU don't support square or...

VaM 1.x Best way to record scenes?

Weird, i used Eosin's plugin a lot. never had clipping like this. Since it renders on game time it can change the physics a bit, but not that extreme. If you can keep the 4k performance in real time without FPS slowdowns, then great! It should be more practical than the non-real time render method.

VaM 1.x Best way to record scenes?

The best plugin for that, in my opinion, is this one https://github.com/yunidatsu/Eosin_VRRenderer/releases. It's a modified version of the one available on the hub with multi threading, faster image encoding. You can render in flat mode with high resolution, just remember to set every timeline...
