Doing a bit of exploring: the scene loads just fine in a clean VAM install after I install the dependances, but fails to load in my bloated (usual use) VAM install. The output_log.txt doesn't show anything wierd. The final hang always seems to be while trying to load the mp3 sounds. Maybe... -

Upgraded from a 3600X to a 5800X3D - 32GB RAM at 3600MHz - Clean VAM install - I realised I did my original benchmark windowed (oops) so this benchmark set is *almost* 1080p. It's specifically the relative Baseline 3 numbers that are most relevant, in case anyone is contemplating this upgrade... -

Thanks. I think I’m trying to use a preset more generically than is really possible. I’d guessed the character name bit, but if other variations cause the preset to not apply correctly….well that’s quite tricky. I’ll tinker with it some more. -
