    I stopped running into the issue for a while and then ran into it today. I'm pretty sure I can confirm that it's simply an issue with having a controller plugged in (in my case a PS4 controller) when VAM starts. Unplugging the controller doesn't work, alone, unless I restart VAM afterwords...
