Actually, it works on both, just not at the same time. If you assign it to a male atom it'll only merge male morphs, and female morphs on female atoms, so no merging male and female morphs together into a single morph, but you can merge and split either one. -

So maybe it's just this specific model, but I just tried the plugin with Zin's Princess Ruto, and the split between hands and feet has some major issues I've also tried it with Oni's Lola Bunny, and it had similar issue. but on a different axis -

For what it's worth, the teeth going through the bottom of the mouth can usually be fixed by resetting the pose. I'm not sure why, but loading pose presets with certain displaces the teeth for some reason, and this is one of those models. -

You can use Stopper's Clothing Plugin Manager to add the Static Clothing Plugin to the clothing, and that would prevent the distortion. -
