I have the same issue, it keeps grabbing random things and people, messing up the scenes, unchecking that box doesn't work unfortunately Neither does unchecking the "interactable in play" checkbox for the persons and objects, for some reason it will still grab them randomly

I don't know if things have changed since then, but I think VAM does, at least now, if you use the alvr nightly version with a quest you get full finger tracking in vam, as in individual finger tracking.. But I have no idea how easy that would be to implement, nor do I know if alvr somehow...

Hm, it works great in regular virtamate, but when loaded into vamx all the texture settings disappear and it turns the face and genitals black, I feel like that's a vamx issue though
